This season's League One play-off semi-finals provided memorable moments and shattered records.

Preston North End are attempting to go up via the play-offs at the 10th time of asking. They overcame Chesterfield with a little help from Jermaine Beckford's screamer from the halfway line.

Swindon Town edged past Sheffield United 7-6 on aggregate, their 5-5 draw in Wiltshire being the highest-scoring match in play-off history.

Who will prevail in Sunday's final at Wembley? Kick-off is at 17:30 BST - we'll have coverage on BBC Radio 5 live and also a live text commentary on the BBC Sport website.

So no goals as yet in this League Two play-off final. Hopefully some on the way in the second half.

If there's no separating these two after 90 minutes, we'll have extra time and, beyond that, penalties.

This is the first game of a Football League play-off final trilogy at Wembley this weekend...

"It's been a pretty fragmented game. There's been absolutely no flow to it. It can only get better!"

"That first half is probably best summed up by the streams of people leaving early for their half-time pies. There wasn't a great deal to shout about other than Barry Corr's disallowed effort.

"But fear not, goal fans. In the 15 meetings between these two sides, there has never been a 0-0 draw."

  8. HALF-TIMEpublished at 18:21 British Summer Time 23 May 2015

So it's honours even at half-time, and that's probably about right.

The main talking point came within five seconds of the game beginning, as Wycombe midfielder Sam Saunders suffered a calf injury and was forced off the field.

Southend striker Barry Corr had a goal disallowed for a push from a team-mate, but other than that it's been very, very tight.

That was brave defending from Southend striker Barry Corr inside his own penalty area. He brought the ball down from the sky and seemed to take an age to clear, but he eventually did so.

Now midfielder Sam Wood goes close for Wycombe. A wonderful first touch sets up the chance for a left-footed shot from 25 yards. It's just over the bar, but it's a good spell for Gareth Ainsworth's men.

  13. Postpublished at 18:13 British Summer Time 23 May 2015

Decent chance for Wycombe, as winger Hogan Ephraim puts in another excellent cross and Paul Hayes hooks the ball towards goal from close range. Southend's highly-rated young goalkeeper Dan Bentley is equal to it and gathers safely.

I think both managers will be quite please to see half-time here. It's a bit scrappy and a bit tense. Maybe a quick chat from the two gaffers, and possibly a change of approach, might see a few more clear-cut opportunities on goal.

Wycombe loft a free-kick from deep into the penalty area and Chairboys centre-back Aaron Pierre rises with opposing defender Adam Barrett. The referee signals goal kick, but replays show the last touch came off Barrett.
