And that is that from us for the evening. Still to come is Brazil's opening match in the Copa America though - see you shortly for that one!
Good night.
Former England captain Gary Lineker
speaking on BBC Radio 5 live
"You have got to remember England are in a very easy qualifying group. But I'm optimistic about the future because there are a lot of young players coming through. I think gradually you'll see improvements, you'll see us come competitive again over the next five or 10 years. Next year might be a bit too soon because we have been a little bit in the dark for a while.
"Anytime we have played anyone good we have been found wanting. But the signs are encouraging. The signs are good down the line."
The teams are coming out of the tunnel around the rest of Europe.
Here's tonight's late fixtures:
Sweden v Montenegro
Lithuania v Switzerland
Belarus v Spain
Slovakia v Macedonia

"Jack Wilshere scored two breathtaking goals. I'm sure he hit the same square of the net on both occasions.
"There's never been any question marks in my mind about his talent. The only question has been his fitness. I like him going forward because he goes past players easily. The problem for Roy Hodgson is we don't seem to produce natural holding midfielders.
"Wilshere has shown he can play comfortably anywhere in midfield, but in an ideal world I'd like to see him play further forward."
Former England captain Gary Lineker
speaking on BBC Radio 5 live
"I'm pleased to be joined by Wayne Rooney on 48 goals. It seemed during a five-minute spell it might not happen when when struck two over the bar, but Wayne's been a consistently excellent player.
"I'm sure he will go on and surpass the great Sir Bobby Charlton. He's still only 29 and he's a formidable talent and he has a fabulous goalscoring record - especially in qualifiers."
Roger Curlett: Our 6th win against poor opponents - we shouldn't get carried away. When we play the big boys our mediocrity shines out.
Belete: Good in the middle and front, but very bad at the back. You can't leak goals like that if you want to win a major tournament!
Farah: People are extremely unfair. Rooney missed chances, all players do. But he kept going and scored the winner. Give him a break!
Who'd be an England manager he? In the space of 90 minutes he goes from clueless to genius and back again.
His squad, his team, for next summer's finals will take up a lot of column inches in the next 12 months.
Where does Jack Wilshere play? Who plays at the back? Does Harry Kane fit in? Daniel Sturridge? Danny Welbeck?
No wonder Fabio Capello looks a little animated. His Russia side lost 1-0 at home to Austria and now face a real battle to qualify automatically for Euro 2016.
Austria top Group G with 16 points from six games, with Sweden second on nine points from five games. Russia have eight points from six.
Russia's next game? Sweden at home on 5 September. Huge match...
England boss Roy Hodgson: "Not just any old goal from Jack Wilshere, they weren't exactly tap-ins! Both were fantastic and Jack took over the midfield in the second half. That was good to see.
"Jordan Henderson did very well at right-back, we were thinking that we would be limiting our options if we replaced Phil Jones with another defender. It was harsh on Nathaniel Clyne, he doesn't deserve that, but it was the best way to get Adam Lallana on.
"Luckily both moves worked out well, we dominated the game totally for long periods."
It was raining shots in Ljubljana. Sixteen by England in the end. Slovenia managed just a quarter of that figure.
Lee: Hodgson criticism doesn't equal Hobson hate! He's winning matches in qualifying and against lower ranked teams but generally with poor performances. The bigger teams brush us aside. We have quality players and plenty of talent coming through but we need a top manager to realise these players' potential.
Steve in Kent: We'll cruise qualifying, and do nothing in France, just like always. A better team would have punished us.
Neil in Spain: The football has he same parallels as the English cricket team. Other teams have evolved and moved on, whereas England have been unable or unwilling to. The cricket team have started the revolution, football next?
Next for England? Bottom of the table San Marino away on 5 September. England have almost booked their place at Euro 2016. Switzerland will move above Slovenia into second spot in Group C if they win away to Lithuania later (19:45 BST).
Since the World Cup England have played 10, won eight, drawn two, scored 23 and conceded five.
Are we feeling positive yet?
Anyone got John Terry's phone number?

"We need a central defender who takes it personally when someone takes a shot at goal or wins a header. You look at Tony Adams, he would shake his head and clench his fist, he would command people.
"We have become sloppy at the back, we don't know where the opposition or ball is. For the first goal, Gary Cahill let the runner go, for the second, a defender should be heading it."
England midfielder Jack Wilshere: "It's obviously nice to get my first goals for England, they have been a long time coming. I probably wouldn't have had a shot for the second one if I hadn't already scored, but after I'd scored one I had more confidence.
"I have said that I need to score more goals, it is something I need to add to my game. Lampard, Gerrard and Scholes have done that for England."
Matthew Harmonyx: Tell you what, they are no mugs these Slovenians. That is an excellent win. Well done England
Shaun Farrelly: Important result for England. Means we won't be below Wales in the next FIFA World Rankings #phew
Omar: Win or no, Hodgson's tactics all wrong from the start. England needs a new manager if we want to go anywhere at Euro 16.

England captain Wayne Rooney: "It's great to score the winner but it was a great team performance. We came out on the front foot for the second half and Jack Wilshere scored two great goals.
"I have formed a good partnership with Jack and hopefully he stays injury free for us now. We have made a lot of progress since the World Cup."
Jon in Watford: Some people are just anti Rooney and won't give him any credit. Not had a great game but was good in the first half with some through balls and the shot, but he really doesn't deserve the abuse he gets and who else would you want with that shot?
Alan: Shame on the Hodgson haters. What more can he do? 6 out of 6 and still we whinge. We have been excellent in qualifying. Get behind the team.
