"Liverpool have made several defensive errors already and are lucky not to be behind.
"It's all Manchester United at the moment."
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool
The edginess is catching! Simon Mignolet throws the ball straight at Juan Mata, the ball bobbles out to Marouane Fellaini 35 yards out and the Belgian goes for a chip - no.
Not much finesses in his game and it flies well over the top. Martin Skrtel then gives the ball away to Memphis Depay.
Liverpool all over the shop back there!
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool
Martin Skrtel with a sloppy pass, almost giving the ball away on the edge of his own area but Lucas does the donkey work to shuttle across and cut it out. Skrtel and Dejan Lovren don't inspire much in the way of confidence at the moment. Manchester United seeing all of the ball now.
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool
Luke Shaw neglects to hit Maroune Fellaini with the early high ball, cutting inside instead. He looks up and then there is no option in behind the Liverpool defence. Fellaini is not going to run past anyone.

Chris Sutton
Former Blackburn striker on Final Score
"Liverpool have a good chance tonight. If Benteke repeatedly peels off Daley Blind he'll cause all sorts of problems, because Benteke can physically overpower defenders.
"If Liverpool don't have the creative edge they should play to their strengths, play it long and try to physically dominate. As for United, well I really like Fellaini. I'd much rather see him play up front than ineffectively in that holding role.
"It's brilliant for United that De Gea has stayed. He's the best keeper in the league.
"I think this will either be a draw, or Liverpool will sneak it."
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool
Christian Benteke's first touch is a pass out of bounds. Liverpool start with some neat stuff though, Danny Ings dropping deep from the left of Benteke, with Roberto Firmino on the other side.
Man Utd 0-0 Liverpool
A nice neat away kit for Liverpool, all in white. And it is the visitors who get the game under way.
Man Utd v Liverpool (17:30 BST)
Christian Benteke v Daley Blind; Maroune Fellaini v Dejan Lovren. That may be where this game is won or lost.

Former Liverpool defender on Football Focus
"You would play David De Gea, wouldn't you?
"By giving him a new contract Manchester United are protecting their investment. They are buying a higher transfer fee, and De Gea gets paid more money. That is business - and how football operates now.
"He's the best goalkeeper. Play him. From a players point of view, a new contract softens the blow that you haven't signed for your boyhood idols."

Here they come! Great atmosphere inside Old Trafford as the line-ups face off inside the tunnel.
Michael Carrick captains United. Interestingly, the mascots are all wearing shirts with the players' names on, with the players wearing shirts with the mascots' names on.
So Bastian Schweinsteiger is now wearing a 'Fuyo' 31 shirt.

Ben Eduardo Howarth: Absolutely horrendous line-up from Van Gaal. Starting to lose faith.
Carl Partridge: Which player out of Liverpool XI would get in that Man Utd line-up? Benteke, obviously. United are playing Fellaini up top.
Abz: Fellaini v Skrtel should be interesting...

Man Utd v Liverpool (17:30 BST)
Without Wayne Rooney, without Steven Gerrard, the sides look a bit short of goals.
And they are. Today's starting line-ups boast just 103 career Premier League goals (United), and 112 for Liverpool.
Man Utd v Liverpool (17:30 BST)
Marouane Fellaini as a number nine. In such a big game.
It all feels a bit of a retrograde step to me.
What do you think? Should Louis van Gaal have started new boy Anthony Martial instead?

Former Blackburn striker on Final Score
"Liverpool will have a balanced side, try to defend strongly and pose a real threat.
"But it's fascinating that De Gea starts for United, if not a big surprise. You should always start with you best keeper."
Man Utd v Liverpool (17:30 BST)
Just over 10 minutes to go and the Liverpool team give each other a group high-five as they go through their warm-ups in front of a hostile stand.
Liverpool's line-up today is, how can I put this, not exactly inspirational.
Or is that unfair Reds fans? Will the midfield of Milner, Lucas and Can seize the initiative? As ever, you can have your say on text (81111) or tweet us at #bbcfootball.

"David De Gea is one of the best keepers in the world. It’s a win-win situation. United are protecting their asset, they’d be fully compensated if he left. He’d probably have got a hell of a lot more money if he’d seen his contract out and left next summer. I still think he’ll go - whether that’s next summer or the following one."

"Messrs Van Gaal and Rodgers were both under scrutiny following Premier League defeats before the international break.
"Liverpool's was the more surprising. West Ham made them look very ordinary at Anfield - or 'bang average' as Harry Redknapp put it. Two goals in four games, one beauty and one off-side, is hardly the stuff of legend.
"Manchester United aren't scoring freely either, and it's interesting to note that while Rooney's last 10 international goals have come in 12 games, his last 10 club goals have come in 30."
*Rooney misses out today.
