Heayweight Tyson Fury is on the pitch at Old Trafford, happily posing for photos with the fans. If Maroune Fellaini gets an injury he may get a run-out up front. The ultimate 'hit the big man.'

A member of Brendan Rodgers' coaching staff takes Martin Skrtel and Dejan Lovren to one side for some intensive words.

"Don't be as rubbish as you were against West Ham!'

    Perhaps.

Man Utd 19th in the table? You don't see that very often.

Supporters of the Old Trafford club have endured a difficult start to the season when it comes to predicting the outcome of Premier League matches - they're right near the foot of our leaderboard. Liverpool fans are proving themselves more knowledgeable - they're ninth.

There's plenty of time to help move your club up the table though. You can predict the outcome of this match and the weekend's other remaining top-flight fixtures here.

"Rousing reception for Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea as he warms up in front of the Stretford End before the meeting with Liverpool - a new four-year contract just signed after the collapse of a proposed move to Real Madrid and back in the team for the first time this season.

"It's not all good news for United manager Louis van Gaal, who broke into somewhat tuneless song on Friday  to insist everyone at Old Trafford was behind him after a week of whispers about discontent among players unhappy with his authoritarian approach.

"Wayne Rooney is out with a hamstring injury sustained on England duty when he broke Sir Bobby Charlton's all-time record for his country with his 50th against Switzerland at Wembley on Tuesday."

Seth Gogo Egoeh: So Fellaini is playing up front as a striker while Martial is on the bench? Welcome to the weird world of LVG...

Joel Ejike Oblates: I thought Daniel Sturridge would make Liverpool bench today. We are going to miss those magical Coutinho tricks.

Bhavin Shah: In all seriousness, who in that Liverpool team would get into the Man Utd team?

Will David De Gea stay at Old Trafford beyond next summer?I doubt it. But maybe.

As it is he is the big addition to the Manchester United line-up this afternoon as captain Wayne Rooney misses out.

We presume through injury. Marouane Fellaini appears to be up front.

    Sam Allardyce
    BBC Radio 5 live

"I would have thought David De Gea would see his contract out and be a free agent which would have brought him to Real Madrid on a much bigger contract than he’s probably got at Man Utd.

"I think it’s a great signing for Man Utd. It’s very important to the progress of Louis van Gaal and trying to win the Premier League. I think now it’s more likely he’ll want to stay.

"Everyone has a price but Real Madrid or whoever else will have to pay a hefty price. I think he’ll be here for a few years. It puts all doubt away for a while."
