We asked you who you would pick first out of Gary Lineker, Wayne Rooney, Michael Owen, Jimmy Greaves and Sir Bobby Charlton - England's top-five goalscorers - and it's the MOTD host who scooped it with a third of the votes...

A full-hearted rendition of the national anthem. Here we go...

Former England captain David Beckham, speaking to ITV Sport: "I am sure [scoring 50 England goals] is up there with every trophy that Wayne has won.
"I know how much it means to Wayne to play for his country. He will continue for [England] another five years, I hope he does because he's such a talent. For Wayne it's all about winning things. I hope he reaches that height [wins a tournament with England]."
England v Switzerland (19:45 BST)
Lovely Swiss anthem, very healthy travelling support. They've got a bit of money though over there.
Cracking place. Everyone seems up for it. Are you?
England v Switzerland (19:45 BST)
Wayne Rooney looking very relaxed as he lines up alongside mascot Romeo Beckham, celebrating his 13th birthday in style.
Mind you, Wayne wasn't much older than that when he bent in a beauty over David Seaman's head. Now he's the one feeling old.
Will any of Beckham's kids go on to play for England? I wonder.

More from England manager Roy Hodgson, speaking to ITV Sport: "I don't know if it's significant [to win all 10 qualifiers] but it would be a nice thing to do. The biggest thing tonight is how well we play. Switzerland are very well organised. It will be a big test. I don't believe the knife is at Switzerland's throat. I believe they are through too."
Roy Hodgson managed Switzerland and helped them qualify for the 1994 World Cup.

No pressure Wayne, but David Beckham has just said that you can play for England for another five years...

Goal 40
A big one. Well, sort of.
Wayne Rooney's first World Cup goal was his 40th in his country's colours. He levelled things up against Uruguay in Brazil - only for Luis Suarez to grab a winner.
England starting XI: Hart; Johnson, Cahill, Jagielka, Baines; Gerrard, Henderson; Sterling, Rooney, Welbeck; Sturridge

England manager Roy Hodgson, speaking to ITV Sport: "You can't do well in a major competition if you are totally reliant on one man to get goals or assists. We have got quality players who can chip in. When you are a forward your job is to score goals and we have three forwards tonight while we have players in midfield capable of scoring too."
England v Switzerland (19:45 BST)
I wonder if Wayne Rooney is sick of hearing about this record attempt? It will also be interesting to see if England's players try harder than usual to engineer him a chance or two. Surely not at this level?
David Beckham is down on the pitch. His son Romeo is mascot tonight. He must have had a lucky draw in the sweepstake...
England v Switzerland (19:45 BST)
With England already through to Euro 2016, it doesn't really matter if they win or not tonight.
But that's not really the spirit, is it? So who do they need to keep an eye on in the Swiss ranks?
Star man is arguably Stoke's new boy Xherdan Shaqiri. The 23-year-old has scored 17 goals in 47 caps.

Quote MessageRaheem Sterling will be in the England Euro 2016 starting XI. Last year was a tough one for Raheem. He was looked upon to take the mantle once Luis Suarez left Liverpool, and then Daniel Sturridge was injured. There is a more of freedom in his play at Manchester City. He'll go from strength to strength playing in this City side.

Just about 15 minutes to go. Roy Hodgson faces the cameras, emphasising that all the forwards need to weigh in with goals, not just Wayne Rooney.
After Rooney on 46 - the next highest scorer in the current squad is Theo Walcott on seven...

Quote MessageI've been lucky enough to play with Wayne Rooney in this team. England fans that follow him do appreciate him. They've been outside team hotels chanting his name. It's only when you stop playing as a player are you really appreciated."

One man who will be very happy with England's team selection tonight will be Everton manager Roberto Martinez.
The three Everton players who played in San Marino - central defensive pair Phil Jagielka and John Stones and Ross Barkley - are all substitutes.
Handy with an early Saturday kick-off against Chelsea at Goodison Park on the horizon.
