  1. CLOSE!published at 20:58

    Man City 1-1 Sevilla

Yevhen Konoplyanka is back on for Sevilla - who should score! Again Manchester City are cut open with ease, it's crossed in and Kevin Gamiero heads over from eight yards out.

That is a massive chance. At this level, the highest level, City's back four have been found utterly wanting.

There's a special guest in Paris tonight as Ronaldo watches PSG v Real Madrid. Nothing in the way of goals for Brazil legend to cheer about with the game still goalless. A frustrating evening so far for Ronaldo's namesake...

  3. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:55

    CSKA Moscow 1-0 Man Utd

Another handball - another penalty? It certainly could have been as Marcos Rojo missed the ball with his head and it struck him on the forearm. There was no attacker anywhere near him but that is a let-off...

Yevhen Konoplyanka - the best player on the pitch in the first half - takes a whack on the kneecap and is in a lot of pain. It would be a huge blow for Sevilla if he had to come off. He's going to try and run it off.

It's not subtle but it's Manchester United's way now - three times already they've tried the big diagonal ball for Marouane Fellaini, who is now playing behind Wayne Rooney. All about the second balls.

Loud applause for Vincent Kompany as he warms up. You can understand why.

Mark Scrivener: Same old City. Horrible mess at the back letting them down again.

Annie's Cloeset: Rooney terrible AGAIN, Martial and Herrera playing in wrong position. Put Martial in centre, Herrera behind him, problem solved

Manchester City have only won one of the previous nine Champions League home games when they've conceded first. That victory was against Villarreal in October 2011, the game ended 2-1. (W1 D4 L4).

Sergio Aguero hit a stoppage-time winner. He won't tonight.

So far so good for Malmo in Group A as they lead Shakhtar Donetsk 1-0. If that stays the same, they will pick up their first three points in this year's competition.

As things stand, Manchester United are sitting bottom of Group B, with Wolfsburg currently drawing with PSV.

Atletico Madrid lead 2-0 against FC Astana in Group C, while group leaders Benfica are 2-1 down to Galatasaray.

Finally, the Group D game between Juventus and Borussia Monchengladbach is currently goalless.

    The Manchester double

Seydou Doumbia is the eighth different player to score against both Manchester clubs in the Champions League - and he's in good company.

The others?  Messi, Ronaldo, Robben, Benzema, Mandzukic, Muller & Ribery...

    Man City 1-1 Sevilla

Just to clarify - the Sevilla goal was not offside! I've seen it again and Eli Mangala was playing Kevin Gameiro on in the middle.

Manchester City's defending has been very ragged at times.

An absolutely chaotic first half at Etihad Stadium comes to a close and gives the crowd a chance to get their breath back. Manchester City are defending like they did against Newcastle and Bournemouth, and Sevilla have taken full advantage. The home side look great coming forward but they are asking for more trouble if they stay as open as this at the back, especially down their left.
