Your sporting achievements...
A top effort one and all! I'm impressed....
Your greatest sporting achievement (of sorts)...
My mates Martin Penalver and Magi Bowler formed a Clacton on Sea Sunday league side called Castel di Frinton in homage to the great Castel di Sangro of the late 90s. It culminated in a trip to Italy in 2004 where we got to play against Castel di Sangro a serie C team at the time. We lost, 6-2 I believe but got to play in their stadium, in front of hundreds of fans and played with serie A player Domenico Cristiano. Not a bad result for a pub team from Clacton Essex.
Spud, Colchester
Me and a few mates started the North Norfolk Mountain Rescue Service .... Managed to get sponsorship from our company and had meetings every Thursday in the pub. Never got called out

I established the American Sports Society at Sunderland Uni (Poly back then) in 1989. Great wheeze for a while - ice hockey, American football etc. Don't know if it's still going.....

Josh Hammond: You are reading a tweet from the top scorer for Warboys under 13's football with 6 goals 12 year ago!
Lewis Tizard: Probably my three minute hat-trick in a district school football tournament when I was 11, I was the ultimate goal hanger!
Jimmy Ward: Guiding my old primary schools cricket team to victory in the local cup courtesy of Markington School pulling out of the final.

Hands shaken, backs slapped, anthems sung, seats taken - let's get on with this...

I may sound like a grumpy old man but there's far too much fraternising going on in the tunnel at City. It's not Jesus Navas's testimonial, there are points at stake here. Get your game faces on...
Dan, I don't really understand what that even means...
Dan Langan: I've made dice football leagues for over 25 years, launching and shaping the careers of over 1000 (fictional) stars!
Simon Briscoe: My wife still holds her school 1st year rounders ball throwing record set at aged 11 (she's 43 now) - regularly mentions it...
Matt Fletcher: Biggest achievement has to be some guy at my hockey club. Worlds oldest hockey player at 80 odd

Man City v Sevilla (19:45 BST)
The host broadcaster has just shown a Joe Hart 'best of' compilation from the Champions League and my word he has made some great saves in the competition over the past year or so.
City will hope that he can have a quieter evening tonight - there are just 10 minutes to go.
CSKA Moscow v Man Utd (19:45 BST)
Just quarter of an hour to go now until tonight's games spring into life.
Will both Manchester sides find the wins they need?
Man City v Sevilla (19:45 BST)
Jesus Navas looked likely to be frozen out at Manchester City this season following their £100m+ splurge on Raheem Sterling and Kevin de Bruyne, but injuries mean that the flying winger is back in the picture.
If he had end product, he'd be dangerous.
Sevilla will know all about him though - Navas played over 300 times for tonight's visitors before joining City in 2013.
Navas starts tonight.

Quote Message“I have to rotate. Juan Mata has played almost every game. He needs a bit of a rest. We are always here to beat the opponent. They have a speedy attack and I expect them to play on the break.”

BBC Sport at Etihad Stadium
It's been raining all day in Manchester, where the drizzle continues to fall, and it is a full 10 degrees colder here than it is in Seville right now, but despite the damp conditions you cannot accuse the travelling fans of Los Rojiblancos (aka the Red and Whites) of being subdued.
They started arriving in the stadium about 15 minutes ago and have been making noise pretty much ever since. They gave a loud welcome to their goalkeepers when they emerged to warm up and an even louder one when they rest of the team appeared.
It is shaping up to be a noisy evening all round - I am sitting in the corner of the press box reserved for Spanish radio commentators and, even before kick-off, it appears they are all fans of the 'stream of consciousness' style of commentary. No dead air here.
Richard Atherton in Northwich via text: I started 'coin football' at school which helped relieve the boredom during maths lessons. I never won the trophy (the 10p coin) though.

Man City v Sevilla (19:45 BST)
It's a chilly, damp evening in Manchester tonight as the players go through their warm-ups inside the Etihad. There are suggestions that there could be as many as 9,000 empty seats tonight...
CSKA Moscow v Man Utd (19:45 BST)
Manchester United fans may feel fairly relaxed about tonight's game but they should know that they are basically taking on the Red Army.
CSKA's full title is PFC Central Sport Club of the Army, Moscow and they have had some even better names during their history.
How about Experimental & Demonstrational Playground of Military Education Association, the Sports Club of Central House of the Red Army or my favourite Central Sports Club of the Ministry of Defense.
Be afraid ladies and gentlemen. But then again maybe the stage is set for Phil Jones to take a microphone on to the pitch and give us a Balboa v Drago style speech.
