  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:31

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

Great chance for West Brom! Jonas Olsson reacts well to a loose ball in the six-yard box and the centre-half's effort is brilliantly turned over by Hugo Lloris!

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:31

    Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

Arsenal are not home and hosed by a long shot.

Hector bellerin is too casual with his pass to Mathieu Flamini and Yann M'Vila snaps into the tackle.

The Sunderland midfielder wallops a shot well wide from 20 yards though.

Steven Fletcher off and Jeremain Lens on for the visitors.

Can United fans please stop moaning. You are one goal away from being top of the league.

GOAL - Southampton 1-1 Aston Villapublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2015

    Oriol Romeu (73 mins)

And there it is! Southampton finally break through and when they do it's a goal very much like Aston Villa's in the first half. A corner from the left is not cleared at the front post, it skips through and Oriol Romeu stretches to poke home. Can Saints win this now?

  5. FA Cup second roundpublished at 16:29 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2015

A shock is now definitely on the cards at Sixfields where Richard Bennett has doubled Northwich Victoria's lead against League Two Northampton.

It's been a much better second half in terms of goals too, where Millwall and Wycombe are currently locked at 1-1, Matt Done has put Sheffield United in front against Oldham and Newport are winning at Barnet.

In the battle of the non-league sides, Eastleigh are 1-0 up at Stourbridge.

    "Attack, attack, attack attack attack!"

That's the chant in the stands at Old Trafford...

  7. 'Leicester - it's like watching Brazil'published at 16:27 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2015

    Swansea 0-3 Leicester

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

"Vardy wants to get that 12th goal? No, he sees someone else and lays it off. It's like watching Brazil on the break, they are running away with the Premier League and you cannot give them enough credit."

  8. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:26

    Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa

Unlucky, Juanmi! Saints spring a counter out to the sub on the left, he cuts inside and hits a crackerjack of a low shot which has plenty of swerve on it, but Brad Guzan watches it all the way and makes a decent save.

  9. goal

    GOAL - Swansea 0-3 Leicesterpublished at 16:24

    Riyad Mahrez

    And that is the hat-trick.

Riyad Mahrez rounds off a silky-smooth counter-attack as N'Golo Kante scampers clear and lays the ball off to Jamie Vardy. Vardy in turn slips it into the path of Mahrez - thundering up from midfield - to score his and the Foxes third.

There was a little of the Gascoigne-Sheringham-Shearer axis against Netherland at Euro 96 about that goal.

Who much is that lad worth now? Leicester top by two as it stands.

  10. Arsenal's second goalpublished at 16:23

    Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

At the right end for Olivier Giroud this time.

  11. CLOSE!published at 16:23

    Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

And Olivier Giroud is denied his side's third as Sunderland clear his header from off the line!

He has been a busy boy today.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:23

    Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa

Great chance as Saints sub Juanmi stretches to reach a teasing cross from the right but he can't keep his header on target and it skids wide. Villa have 25 minutes to hold out - or grab another on the break...

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 16:22

    Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

And in the wake of Arsenal's second goal, Arsene Wenger brings on Theo Walcott for his return from injury.

    Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain makes way.

  14. Postpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 5 December 2015

    Arsenal 2-1 Sunderland

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"What a good goal. Olivier Giroud's movement is great - he times his run in parallel with Aaron Ramsey so well - and the finish on the head is beautiful."

    Man United 0-0 West Ham

    Slaven BilicImage source, AFP

With Man Utd's recent track record of lack of shots on target you have to question West Ham's decision to play a goalkeeper.

  16. CLOSE!published at 16:19

    Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa

Ah brilliant defending from Alan Hutton! He stretches to block a shot from Steven Davis, a cross from the right falls for the Northern Ireland man and his shot is brilliantly blocked. Bodies on the line stuff.

  17. goal

    GOAL - Arsenal 2-1 Sunderlandpublished at 16:19

    Olivier Giroud

    Olivier Giroud scoresImage source, PA

Olivier Giroud locates the same square of net that he put the ball into for his own goal in the first half.

The Frenchman nips in front of his marker to meet Aaron Ramsey's cross with a stooping header and Costel Pantilomon stands no chance.

  18. Championship updatepublished at 16:18

Lively stuff after the break in the second tier: Nathan Baker has been sent off for Bristol City, but it’s still 0-0 with Blackburn.

Cardiff are 2-1 up at Bolton, thanks to Scott Malone, while Hull have reduced the arrears to the same scoreline at Leeds through Ahmed Elmohamady.

Nottingham Forest have made it 2-0 with Chris O’Grady grabbing the second of the game against Fulham at the City Ground.

James Wilson, on loan from Man United, has pulled a goal back for Brighton who trail Charlton 1-2 at home.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 16:18

    Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

And now Manchester United come close. Great work down the left by Anthony Martial, he picks out Marouane Fellaini inside the six-yard box but he is denied by a stretching Adrian!

  20. Postpublished at 16:18

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

    Norwich are pressing forwards.

Nothing too fancy in their tactics, banging crosses in towards Dieumerci Mbokani.

None has been accurate enough to threaten though.
