"West Ham should be 3-0 up now. Mauro Zarate was clear through on goal - a golden chance - but misses the target.

"Manchester United are having to scurry to stay in the game. It really is all West Ham!"

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

The visitors in purple look the more likely but on a blustery afternoon at The Hawthorns both sides are struggling withe their final ball. Danny Rose lashes a cross out of play when well-placed.

  3. CLOSE!published at 16:16

    Arsenal 1-1 Sunderland

And Arsenal survive by the skin of their teeth.

Ola Toivonen flicks on at the near post, Steven Fletcher comes sliding in at the far and pokes goalwards, only for Petr Cech to grasp it just before it crosses the line.

Fletcher collided with the post in the chance and is trying to run off the knock.

  4. CLOSE!published at 16:14

    Man Utd 0-0 West Ham

What a chance! West Ham really should be ahead as a cross from the right is knocked down by Andy Carroll to Mauro Zarate, he's eight yards out on an angle - and screws a shot horribly wide! A badly-timed miscue for the Hammers!

Steven Fletcher forces Petr Cech to go full-length as his skidding shot threatens to sneak in at the near post.

    Pushed behind for a corner...

"This is Arsenal football for sure!" shouts John Motson at the Emirates.

He's right. Lovely dinky, one-touch stuff around the edge of the box, but Aaron Ramsey is just offside from Mesut Ozil's pass.

It would not have made too much difference. Costel Pantilmon made a good save before the flag was spotted.

    Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa

Villa have gone early with the time-wasting - still 40-odd minutes left at St Mary's. Can the hosts find a way through the yellow wall?

  8. Postpublished at 16:10

    Man United 0-0 West Ham

No signs of mutiny from the stands at Old Trafford yet at the home side's performance - but it is very quiet indeed.

Salford City are more exciting than United at moment.

    Man United 0-0 West Ham

LVG has made some great moves in the transfer market, both in and out of Old Trafford. His coaching philosophy is looking very last decade though. Maybe he should move to a Director of Football role and give Giggs the chance to pick the team.

Duncan Watmore must be quick. Hector Bellerin, who can catch pigeons, just resorted to pulling the Sunderland player's shirt as he threatened to burst in behind.

The referee failed to spot it.

  12. CLOSE!published at 16:08

    West Brom 1-1 Tottenham

What a tackle! Gareth McAuley somehow stretches out a long leg, Inspector Gadget style, to strip the ball from Harry Kane as the England man was applying a finish to Dele Alli's clipped pass. Brilliant defending!

    Watford 1-0 Norwich

Robbie Brady gets a yard ahead of his man as he chases a ball forward and opts for a snap-shot from the edge of the box.

Might have been the wrong option. His first-time effort trundles four yards wide.

    Southampton 0-1 Aston Villa

How exactly is losing to Villa 1-0 embarrassing. We are still a Premier League team.

    Swansea 0-2 Leicester

Ki Sung-yueng almost grabs a lifeline for a floundering Swansea side, rattling the post from close range.

The hosts could do with something and sharpish, but Leicester look very dangerous on the break.

    Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender on Final Score

"Very resolute from Sunderland, but Arsenal need to be quicker and make things happen. Everything is very mechanical and a bit routine, but I still feel Arsenal can win this.

"The form teams like Leicester and Liverpool are running with a freedom, we are not seeing this from United and Arsenal."
