Jamie Jennrich: Sending Falcao on just shows how bad Hiddink is, first constantly playing Mikel now sending on Falcao to try and rescue a game.

Anthony Madigan: If the current bottom 3 in the PL swap with the top 3 in the Championship, the total capacity of the PL falls by 56,000.

Niall Hughes: Everton v Watford....possibly the worst case scenario for an FA Cup final based on this game!

Former England winger Trevor Sinclair: "For me, it should be spoken about behind closed doors. That’s a big slur on the manager. Saying your side ‘lack chemistry’, that says you’re lacking team spirit."

Fans at Vicarage Road unveiled a banner in support of Leighton Baines, who was told to apologise by manager Roberto Martinez for saying Everton "lacked chemistry" last week.

  16. Trotters nearing the endpublished at 16:38 British Summer Time 9 April 2016

    Football League latest

Bolton have got a goal. But so have Derby. Jacob Butterfield made it 3-0 to the Rams, before Zach Clough's penalty pulled one back. The Trotters are 15 minutes from relegation from the Championship.

At the bottom end of League One, Colchester have gone 1-0 up at Blackpool to drag their hosts into the bottom four - Chris Porter with the goal there to give the U's hope of survival.

Northampton are going up it would seem from League Two, although Matty Taylor has pulled one back for Bristol Rovers to make it 2-1 and to make it nervy. Chrid Maguire's penalty has given Oxford a 4-1 lead over Crawley - meaning the Cobblers won't wrap up the title. At the bottom, Dagenham have let a 1-0 lead slip to trail Portsmouth 2-1 - that nearly spells the end for the Daggers.

David Robinson: Villa going down. Randy Lerner to blame. Silly appointments since O'Neill left and no rebuilding of his squad. RL gave up.

Paul Moore: Newcastle would waltz up the table if Rafa had an Andy Carroll-type player at his disposal. Fact.

Gary Brien: More chance of Newcastle playing home games in Benidorm next season than Rafa staying.

Who is this?? Guus Hiddink is leaving Chelsea at the end of the season and he just does not care.

A player called Radamel Falcao has been sent on in place of Ruben Loftus-Cheek to try and rescue the match for the Blues.

    Aston Villa 0-2 Bournemouth

    Garth Crooks
Former Spurs striker on Final Score

"Villa are dreadful and it's been a catalogue of errors. It's a desperate situation. The fans are booing and it’s very difficult. He's played a debutant today, Jordan Lyden, and it's not helped."
