A big night in the Premier League title race. A very impressive night for Spurs. A warning sign for Leicester.

But the Foxes remain five points clear. We are set for a fine end to the season.

    See you tomorrow!

It's a five-point lead for Leicester. Momentum is everything isn't it in sport. Leicester fans would have bitten your hand off for a five-point lead with four games to go.

Yet does it now feel like Spurs really have a chance?

Teams are dealing with Leicester a little better but they're still silencing their doubters with each game. Spurs don't seem to be able to put a foot wrong and are playing some wonderful stuff... We are in for one heck of a finish!

Finally, on their 4th attempt Spurs finally gain an edge on Leicester after beating a poor Stoke side. This is after Leicester pulled a draw out of the hat with two mins to go with only 10 men and their talisman sent off. Bit of perspective please as Leicester were 5000 to 1. Of course Spurs should be doing better.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, speaking to Sky Sports:

"It was a great game and I'm very pleased with the performance. We’re still fighting. Our dream is to fight and to put pressure on Leicester and the performance and the result was fantastic.

"Today I feel very proud. Stoke wanted to win the game and we showed personality and character. Maybe today is one of the performances that you feel most proud of because of the character to cope with the pressure.

"We showed hunger and passion. I have a squad of players who feel passion about the game. They deserve praise and credit for their season."

Did anyone really expect him to be such a key player for Spurs and England already?!

    I know I didn't...

James Bliss: my latest forecast has Spurs winning on goal difference and 78 points. But Leicester win if Chelsea rollover on last day.

Lee Hounslow: Who said title race over, definitely game on! COYS!

Adam Duckett: For a Spurs fan raised in Leicester it doesn't get much better than this. Just flip the top two please!

Stoke boss Mark Hughes: "Don't underestimate the quality of Spurs but we were poor. We didn't do the things we talked about before the game.

"We had a go in the second half but that played into their hands and they picked us off. We didn't deal with them at all. We couldn't get close to them."

More from Spurs striker Harry Kane: "It doesn't get much better than that. We hardly put a foot wrong and could have scored more. I wanted the assist for Dele Alli's miss, he took it around the keeper and I don't know what he did wrong! He has been brilliant again though.

"Every single one of us put in a good performacne and we have done for a while now. We are ready to put the pressure on Leicester. We think we can do it. Leicester are five points ahead but we have closed the gap, that's all we could do."

From a Leicester fan, fair play Spurs, awesome performance. However don't get too excited about Vardy's absence, it will only galvanise us even more and increase our siege mentality.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane: "What a performance! Stoke is a tough place to come and to win in the manner we did shows what sort of team we are. We are not going anywhere.

"We scored four but could have had six or seven. It is one of our best performances all season but that's what we can do. Leicester dropped points and I have been itching to play. I had to wait a whole day and a half."
