The home fans burst into life as Geoff Cameron puts a fine cross in but he's only got Bojan to hit and Toby Alderweireld flicks it away easily enough.

Bojan has a cross flicked away and then tap-tap-tap and it's Spurs on the edge of the Stoke box. Lovely feet from Erik Lamela and Eric Dier send them flying up the pitch and it ends with Dele Alli firing over on the run.

    Snooker loopy, nuts are we...

Well Mike [20:14], it's normally a free ball, but I'd fancy Christian Eriksen to find a way through to the black anyway.

"It's amazing to think Harry Kane has got as many goals as Aston Villa."

That was Kane's 23rd Premier League goal this season - the same number as relegated Villa have managed in 34 league games.

There's a lot of truth in there Joe, in my opinion. How many players in the Premier League would get into Bayern Munich's side? Barcelona? Real Madrid?

A debate for another day. There are plenty of dull games to ponder that one. This is a good watch though, Spurs pressing the life out of Stoke.

I'm going to play devil's advocate here and say the quality of the Premier League this season has been atrocious. Entertaining. Yes. Romantic. Yes. But does anyone think these Leicester or Spurs teams would be even getting close to Man Utd '99, The Invincibles or Chelsea '05-06? Even the worst Utd team in living memory (and I'm including the Moyes tenure) have a chance of sneaking into the top 4. I've enjoyed the unpredictability but I'd rather be watching the pinnacle of world football on a Saturday night like I have done in the past. Anyone agree or just me?

What an excellent 15 minutes from Tottenham. Under immense scrutiny, under huge pressure, under the microscope - and they have delivered.

Stoke are chasing shadows at the minute.

Apparently, Danny Rose is getting booed because of his part in a diving incident against Stoke while playing for Sunderland four years ago.

What is the rule if, after potting a red, the cue ball comes to rest in a position surrounded by red balls with no gap to play through?

Since the start of last season Harry Kane has scored 44 Premier League goals, only 10 fewer than Aston Villa in the same period.

Roy Hodgson will still probably pick Danny Welbeck ahead of him...

    Harry Kane

Brilliant. A brilliant, brilliant goal from a brilliant player - Harry Kane lights up the Premier League once more!

Mousa Dembele breezes past a few challenges in midfield before finding Kane wide out on the left. Two touches get the ball under control, he cuts inside and then, from just on the edge of the area, he curls around a defender, around Shay Given, and in.

Shay Given! Still got it! But Harry Kane will be thinking that he should have scored. Erik Lamela feeds the little pass around the corner to Kane, who is just onside. He drags the ball on to his left foot but his touch is a bit laboured, it's slow. He gets a shot off but Given spreads himself and saves with his feet!

Stoke can still go direct when they need to and a long ball over the top almost sends Bojan free on goal but Toby Alderweireld snakes out a long leg to clear it away. Alderweireld has been superb this season hasn't he?

Stoke having a good spell. Giannelli Imbula to the fore.
