YES! I have long since advocated a fine for this Steve. The PFA are having none of it mind...

If I was a manager I would fine a player 20% of their weekly wage each time they failed to clear the first defender at a corner. Such a waste of a free kick.

Geoff Cameron has the ball wide right for Stoke, a rare break - wastes it. Awful cross, straight to Hugo Lloris.

"If Spurs don't go on to win this game they'll be absolutely devastated. If they only draw it the title will be over. Tottenham will be kicking themselves if Stoke get an equaliser."

Dan Grosvenor: How about we give indirect free kicks when a referee spots grappling. Still a punishment but won't result loads of penalties.

The first bit of wrestling from a set-piece is a dangerous one as Ryan Shawcross grapples with Toby Alderweireld - nothing given. Dele Alli then has a mazy run down the left and his cross is cut out.

Pedigree. Thoroughbreds. Stoke can't live with the pace and strength of Tottenham on the counter as Harry Kane feeds Kyle Walker, he whips it in and it goes through to Erik Lamela. The angle is tight but he gets a shot off and Shay Given manages to push it away.

"Dele Alli has to be hitting the target. Mauricio Pochettino was out of his dugout and then walked back and slammed his hands on the top of it in frustration. He knows Spurs have to take their chances because Stoke will get opportunities."

Dele Alli has a half chance after a cross is cushioned back into his path but he leans back and slams it into the away end behind the goal. A peeved Mauricio Pochettino slams his fist on the dugout. A missed chance goes begging.

Oh what a pass! Harry Kane cuts the Stoke side apart with one sweep of his left foot, it's an absolute peach, Xavi-esque! Danny Rose is in on goal but he loses his footing under pressure and the chance is gone.

If it stays like this, Leicester will hold a five-point lead at the top of the table.

Leicester then face Swansea at home next Sunday, before Spurs host West Brom on Monday. In fact this is the first of three consecutive Monday games for Tottenham. What a long weekend ahead!

Marko Arnautovic looked the most likely man to find a breakthrough for Stoke in that first half - the Potters shaded possession but only had one shot on target.
