Two seasons, two comfortable finishes away from the threat of relegation. Is that enough for Tony Pulis to earn a new deal at West Brom?

The Baggies manager has a year left on his deal, but says he will hold talks with chairman Jeremy Peace at the end of the season about new terms.

"We've got two weeks to go, two important games, and then we'll have dinner and sit down and we'll talk about things. I should imagine we'll be okay," says the Welshman.

"I like the football club, it's a good football club, there's no problems for me in any way, shape or form. There's lots of improvement that has to take place but it takes time."

"The ball bounced and Stephens came rushing over. He went for it very aggressively and, according to referee Mike Dean, recklessly.

"That's the last thing Brighton wanted, that kind of indiscipline. It's cost them a player and it might cost them promotion."

In the meantime, Gaston Ramirez is being taken off the field on a stretcher after several minutes of treatment. Stewart Downing, who was part of the Middlesbrough side relegated from the top flight in 2009, comes on.

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Brighton

Another mighty twist. Minutes after bringing Brighton level, Dale Stephens is shown a straight red card for a tackle on Gaston Ramirez that leaves the Boro man down on the floor and with an awful gash in his shin. The Albion midfielder got a bit of the ball but a lot of the man. Ramirez won't be able to continue but his side now has a man advantage.
