You cannot win a tournament without a top class goalkeeper and Hugo Lloris is top class. Fifty-eight times captain for France...it's unbelievable. He is just a great guy. One thing I like about him is his calmness. He doesn't panic and therefore does not make anyone else panic.

Bad Jackers: 2 Saints players, yes that's 2 Saints players in the Euro final. Who says you have to play for a big club to achieve things.
If any Southampton fans are annoyed about that please tweet Bad Jackers directly...

I think the French are the favourites. They have more match winners, they are confident but you can't write Portugal off.
With Ronaldo being the player he is, with the hunger he has to have this tournament on his CV, you can't write them off.
Overall you would say France's performance's have been better.

Ex-England captain on BBC One
Portugal are gritty. It's hard to eulogise over them but they are functional and efficient. The players know each other's jobs and get men behind the ball - they make it difficult.
They're not great to watch and not entertaining.
Ronaldo does his fair share of work too. He worked his socks off against Wales.

Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One
In terms of natural ability Nani has it all - left and right feet and pace to die for. If he got it all together he would be be one of the best.

Tonight will be Antoine Griezmann's 70th game of the season. SEVENTY.
A season which has seen a run to the Champions League final, his sister caught up in the terror attacks at the Bataclan, and now a run to the Euro 2016 final.
Who needs a rest?

Did Patrice Evra leave Manchester United too soon? I think everyone can agree that Paul Pogba did...

BBC Sport chief football writer in Paris
France are in a circle warming up - and veteran defender Patrice Evra has pulled his team-mates around for an animated, fist-pumping speech.
The 35-year-old left-back has lost none of his passion and desire for victory judging by that. Evra's colleagues looked like they were hanging on every word.

I was lucky enough to be on the streets of Paris after the semi-final but I haven't seen an atmosphere like this for a long, long time.
What impressed me about Cristiano Ronaldo in the semi-final was his work-rate. He was running back and winning the ball back for his team. He has the hopes of his country on his shoulders but if anyone can he can.

Moths have invaded the Stade de France ahead of kick-off. Apparently someone left the floodlights on last night. Clearly they did not stick to the rule of turning the lights off on your way out.
My dad would be livid.

Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One
Paul Pogba is potentially the £100m kid. He has really grown in stature during this tournament. He is a 6ft 4in twinkle toes and is the poster boy of the tournament. Didier Deschamps has to take credit for putting him in a deep role.
Portugal v France (20:00 BST)
We are 40 minutes away from kick-off in a raucous Stade de France. This tournament has certainly delivered on atmosphere hasn't it? Superb.
Portugal v France (20:00 BST)
Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One
Portugal in the final brings into question the format of the tournament. They finished third in their group and didn't win a game before the knockout stages. They are not pleasing on the eye but they know how to get through games.

Portugal make two changes from the semi-final win over Wales. Pepe returns at centre-half and William Carvalho comes back in as anchor man.

CJ Wellstead: can't wait for kick off so excited for this game been a decent tournament let's hope for a great game tonight
David Brownlie: #FRA have entertained, attacked, and created memories. #POR contributed very little and benefactors of a flawed 24 team system.

BBC Radio 5 live at Stade de France
I think there is a lot of pressure on Ronaldo. Even though he has scored three excellent goals, overall he hasn't delivered.
He shoulders the burden for Portugal's hopes, if he finds top form he can cause France problems.
France just have to keep their cool, I really don't see any other result tonight.

Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live
Portugal haven't played well, they haven't been good to watch, they've been boring at times but they have got results.
This is what Ronaldo wants. It will put him up there with the best of all time.
