For all the life of you, you thought they would get on the end of it and Fabregas hooked it away.

This current Spanish side seem to play a lot more crosses than sides of recent years. Andres Iniesta clips one in but as the ball gets re-worked by the Spaniards, he's the man on hand to shoot from 30 yards. Easily held by Petr Cech.

There is the opportunity. It was a great inswinger, Hubnik just couldn't get a great contact on it.

But what's this? The side in white win a free-kick high up the field and Roman Hubnik is up from the back to scare the life out of Spain. He gets a foot on a lovely delivery and David de Gea makes his second meaningful save of the match.

Spain have got good options on the bench, Lucas Vasquez, Pedro, Adruiz. They need some pace.

A lovely stat from our friends at Opta. Tomas Rosicky is now the youngest and oldest player to represent Czech Republic at a European Championships.

He's 35 now and still very much playing his part in orchestrating this resistance.

It is ominous from Spain. The Czech Republic don't keep clean sheets. I think Spain will score eventually.

Sergio Busquets snaps into a tackle to prevent any attack from the Czech Republic before they get out of their own half.

David Silva has the ball out on the left and comes inside to zing a ball in towards Morata. He is wrestling with his marker and can only turn the ball wide.
