At what point do we start flipping this? As good as Spain are on the ball, this has been quite dogged at the back from the Czechs.

The attacks come and come, a third corner for Spain in a minute and Petr Cech only punches as far as Nolito who drives at goal. It's blocked in the six-yard box and as Sergio Ramos throws himself at a rebound, bodies come from every angle to complete a block, another corner. It's just not going in!

Great break from Spain. Morata once again was in acres of space. He just tried to pick out Fabregas and the deflection went out for a corner.

Spain right at it from the off, Alvaro Morata peeling away into a shooting position but he hesitates and will have to cross. It's low and an OWN GOAL... no. Roman Hubnik deflects onto his own post.

We are back under way. Spain will not want this to drag on in the same fashion. The longer it goes, the more frustration may build.

As the players emerge in the tunnel, what do you think the second half will throw up?

Czech Republic managed just 136 passes in the opening half and completed 67%. Neither of those figures are particularly good for any side.

Johnny Magrinho: Same old bias towards Spain from pundits. Don't get it. They look about as threatening as a declawed kitten chewing toffee.

One Direction, well Niall at least, are up for the Republic of Ireland opener. A reminder it will get under way at 17:00 BST on BBC One and be followed by Belgium v Italy.

Pavel Kaderabek at right back for Czech Republic has touched the ball just seven times. He has played two passes and completed both. 

He's chasing shadows it seems.

Francis Edwards: Kroos and Iniesta. Two of the finest players on show at these Euros. What an absolute pleasure to be alive to see these two.

Iniesta has played 41 passes and completed 95% of them so far but most of the Spanish play comes through Cesc Fabregas at some stage. He has had 59 touches in all, that's more than anyone else.

Lots of possession for Spain. Cech is the reason why the Czech Republic are going in at 0-0.

Nolito and Silva have been on the fringes. There is no pace in the side, it is all in front of the Czech Republic. Spain have had possession but are they going to go on and win the tournament? 

I don't think they are.

That's a bit more like it from the Czech Republic. They manage to construct an attack and Tomas Necid is on the end of it to shoot from 20 yards. Palmed into the air and then held by David de Gea.

One minute to hang on and the Czechs can have a drink and an orange.

David Silva down the right, to Juanfran. Silva again, to Cesc Fabregas. Sergio Ramos has it now, 35 yards out... he shoots and it's tame. Ramos slipped as he struck it.

The Czech Republic want the half-time whistle to come.

They have got no out ball. When they win the ball back it comes back time after time after time.

Petr Cech has made four saves already. I fear he may need to hit double figures if the Czechs are to get anything here.

Nolito is sloppily offside despite looking right across the line as a long ball finds him. At last a reprieve for Czech Republic. Fill those lungs with air gents, it's hard work this.

Good football again and Jordi Alba finds himself with time to pick out the bottom corner does he... good palm away by Petr Cech. Still Spain attack, Czech Republic are on the ropes here. David Silva is in the area, out comes Cech to save at his feet as the angle narrowed.

Andres Iniesta doesn't score many anymore but with invention like this you may wonder why. He gets his head up about 40 yards out and sees Petr Cech off his line. He has a go but it's around 10ft wide.
