That was Bogdan Stancu's second penalty at Euro 2016 in as many games after he scored from the spot against France.

It means he is the first player to score two penalties in one European Championship since Gaizka Mendieta (pictured) 16 years ago.

He is only the third player ever to achieve the feat, with Frank Arnesen doing it for Denmark in 1984.

And there's another attack down the left as Alex Chipciu cuts in from the left - just like the Slovakia goal earlier - but this time he arrows a shot wide. Romania so close to a second...

A whopping 80% of Romania's attacks (the few they've had) have come down the left flank.

Poor challenge from Romanian midfielder Andrei Prepelita, straight through Granit Xhaka, and he's in the book. Romania boss Anghel Iordanescu is waving his side up the pitch, he doesn't want to sit back.

"Same old story for both teams so far.

"The Swiss have had lots of chances, but they cannot take.them. The chief culprit is the same as in their first game too - Hans Seferovic.   

"As for Romania, they have created next to nothing but they have another goal from the spot thanks to Bogdan Stancu, who is an unlikely contender for the golden boot. Their fans have just let off some kind of smoke bomb, and are still celebrating his second goal of the tournament."

"Tatarusanu did so well to deal with that, there was so much dip on the volley. You do get the feeling Switzerland are going to get plenty of chances in this game... "

We might have a hipster, below the radar contender for game of the week brewing here. The Swiss come right back down the field and defender Fabian Schar hits a dipping strike which forces Ciprian Tatarusanu into a cracking save.

"Wow, that's opened this game up!  

"There wasn't much of a complaint about it from the Romania players but the referee was right - it was certainly a penalty. Stancu looked really comfortable running up, but slightly slipped as he took it." 

Ooooh! Looks tame but referee Sergei Karasev gives a penalty for a pull on the shirt of Alex Chipciu.

Like a Swiss knife through butter, the men in red are in again! Stoke winger Xherdan Shaqiri plays a neat touch around the corner and Haris Seferovic is in, hard and low but a save by the feet of Romania's Ciprian Tatarusanu! Fine stop.

Are Switzerland going to perform better than Everton in this tournament though? That's the question. They are well on top in Paris, playing some fluid stuff. They're a nice side to watch in full flow.

"The most dangerous player for Switzerland so far is their left-back Ricardo Rodriguez. He's hammering it forward! The way they play, it's not too dissimilar from Everton when they're at their best. The two full-backs running on, with the two central midfielders then coming in to cover."

Phil Grace: Cracking tournament so far as no 0-0's (yet!) some stunning goals (Payet and Hamsik), impressed by Kaputska, Weiss and Kroos. Disappointed with Lukaku, Muller and Griezmann.

David, London: Disappointed in Austria. Like Belgium in previous tournaments, being branded as the 'dark horse' seems to be a curse.
