William Mawson: Can see both #Wal, external and #Cro, external going along way in this tournament now, won't be surprised if one of them at least get to the Semis.

Goals Galore: Will Grigg is now an inferno, not just 'on fire'.

Robert Snell: This "half of draw" stuff is rubbish - if #eng, external had won we likely face Belgium and Croatia in QF and SF - no easier.

England fans, think you've got it rough with the draw? Spare a thought for Italy. They are the only side with a 100% record so far in the tournament and yet they will likely have to beat Spain and Germany just to get to the semi-final.

    Ouch.

Andy Parks: Wales' side of the draw suddenly wide open. What an opportunity for them and other teams on that side to go far.

Owain Llyr: So @FAWales, external will play either N.Ireland, Albania or Turkey in the last 16 I'm sure Chris Coleman will be happy with that.

Chris Pinder: Good representation from home nations in the next round. Congrats to all and hope all go further!

  13. 'We are ready for whoever'published at 22:14 British Summer Time 21 June 2016

More from Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill: "Against Germany you need your goalkeeper to have a big game, your back four to defend for their lives - you're playing against the best team in the world. Whoever wins this competition will have to beat Germany and what we saw tonight from our players was everything we could have asked for and they have been rewarded with progression.

"What we went through tonight will prepare you for anything in the next round, our players will be ready for whoever.

"Chris Coleman has done a magnificent job with Wales. If I was picking a team I thought we had a better chance against I would say Wales, but we'll see who comes out after the final group games tomorrow.

"One thing I can assure the supporters is that we will be ready to play whether it's Saturday or Sunday."

Northern Ireland manager Michael O'Neill speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "It's surreal, we were just on the coach so have been following on the BBC website. I'm not sure it's really sunk in yet but it's a fantastic achievement.

"We knew the group would be difficult, what we saw tonight was a team that refused to be beaten by a big margin and did everything possible to stay in the game.

"Over the three games we deserve to be in the last 16."
