When you saw N'Golo Kante in a Leicester team, they conceded possession and he was probably at his best then. Because Chelsea have had so much of the ball he's not been needed. Really it's up to the Eden Hazards and the Oscars to turn this performance into goals.

Chelsea are getting closer and closer.

Willian's free-kick, which goes over the wall, is dipping into the top corner, but West Ham goalkeeper Adrian get get across to tip it over.

You're desperate to play at a new club and suddenly you get an injury after all that pre-season work. It's very disappointing.

Yep, Andre Ayew is done, his West Ham debut lasts just 33 minutes.

The former Swansea man, who has the right leg of his shorts rolled up, hobbles off the pitch and down the tunnel.

On comes on-loan Besiktas man Gokhan Tore for his debut...against his old club.

That pacy run from Eden Hazard has caused West Ham debutant Andre Ayew big problems, as he has pulled up trying to chase the Belgian.

Eden Hazard is playing very wide. I'd like to see him play more centrally. If you compare him to Neymar or Gareth Bale - they are wide players but end up centrally. It's a little bit rigid and it's something the manager may want to look at.

Fantastic play from Eden Hazard, his influence is growing in this game.

The Belgium forward picks the ball up deep in the West Ham half before wriggling his way through to the area.

He attempts a right-footed curler into the far-bottom corner, but with Adrian beaten, the ball goes agonisingly wide of the post.

In unison, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and owner Roman Abramovich lean back and hold their heads. Close.

West Ham made a very composed start. This was their possession in the first five minutes...

Chelsea striker Diego Costa is caught on his heel. If he had been bursting his lungs to get into the box this would have been 1-0 to the home side.

Eden Hazard works the ball well on the left before drilling a teasing cross across the six-yard box, begging to be slipped into the net, but it rolls through to the other side of the area and to safety.
