  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 52 mins

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

Another yellow card, this time for Marouane Fellaini. You may not be surprised to learn it comes from a trailing arm, into the face of Aleksandar Kolarov.

Zlatan is firmly in this game now after the first 40 minutes passed him by. He meets a cross from the right with his chest before hooking a shot from the edge of the box narrowly over.

Michael Devlin: Lingard was a puzzling choice to start. He can keep Rashford, Martial, Mata and Herrera on the bench? Surely not.

Rachel T: I think Lingard might have fluffed his lines there. Not sure he will get many more chances.

Richard: I don't want to over hype him but I'm almost certain Rashford is the greatest player of all time.

  7. 'Rashford should be confident'published at 13:35 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

    Chris Waddle
Former England winger at Old Trafford for 5 live Sport

Jose Mourinho could have taken four or five of his United players off at half-time. They didn't perform in the first half.

As for Marcus Rashford, well you'd expect him to be confident after scoring a hat-trick for the England under-21s.

  8. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

In one minute, Marcus Rashford has done more than Jesse Lingard and Henrikh Mkhitaryan combined in 45. His run and dinked cross is met by Zlatan Ibrahimovic to fire just over.

  9. Senderos Offpublished at 13:34 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 3-1 Rangers

It's not been a vintage display from Philippe Senderos. Or maybe it has, in a way.

The now Rangers defender was skinned for one of the earlier goals and now sees red for a handball. Fifteen minutes left at Celtic Park.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:33 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

Two changes for United. Marcus Rashford and Ander Herrera are on. Off go Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Jesse Lingard - the two players he brought in. That's a big admission from Jose. Sorry lads, my bad.

Tienga N: Whatever the score of the Manchester Derby, you have to admire the way Pep Guardiola has got MCFC to play. #A thing of beauty.

LifaNati: When you pick a team based on their size instead of technical ability you get that first half Man U performance.

Imer Cardona: That must have been the shortest 45mins in PL history. Breathless. UTD will turn this around!

  13. 'Welcome to the Premier League, Pep'published at 13:30 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

    John Murray
BBC Radio 5 live commentator at Old Trafford

This is a bit of a 'welcome to the Premier League' for Pep Guardiola. In other leagues, once your side gets into a 2-0 lead that's often game over. We know that in our top flight the game's never over.

  16. 'That was a great half of football'published at 13:25 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

    Chris Waddle
Former England winger at Old Trafford for 5 live Sport

It could have been 3-2 to United! City lost all their discipline and shape right at the end of the half.

That was a great half of football. For 35 minutes Manchester City were outstanding but United have fought back into this. Game on!

  17. A game-changing moment?published at 13:21 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Old Trafford

Is that moment the game-changer? Manchester United were being outclassed until Claudio Bravo's fumbling effort to catch that free-kick.

Old Trafford is suddenly alive at half-time and Jose Mourinho's side have hope. Surely he will make a change after Henrikh Mkhitaryan's miserable first half on the right flank to boost their chances.

The whole atmosphere has changed in that one moment of poor goalkeeping from Claudio Bravo.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 45+2 mins

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

And breathe. What a difference a complete defensive howler can make. City were cruising at 2-0 but that Bravo drop and Zlatan finish has made the game a contest again.

Here's hoping for another 45 minutes like the final five of that first half.

  19. Celtic back in cruise controlpublished at 13:19 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 3-1 Rangers

Celtic have re-opened a two-goal lead at the hour mark as Scott Sinclair steers home.

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

Claudio Bravo has lost it. He comes out to try to claim a long ball forward but realises he is not going to make it and is left stranded as Zlatan Ibrahimovic pokes a shot towards goal. Luckily for City's keeper, John Stones had got back on the line and is able to clear.

Ibrahimovic should have scored. Maybe he thought he was putting the ball into an empty net?

Before all that Eric Bailly went into the book for a foul. Frantic end to the half.
