Now then. De Bruyne - finding space again - is clattered on the edge of the United box by Eric Bailly. The free-kick is slightly to the left. De Bruyne fancies it.

    Confident Man Utd fans?

We asked who you thought would prosper in the Manchester derby. Well, if the results are anything to go by, then it is a firm thumbs-up for United, with almost 60% of the vote.

The draw pulled in 22% and, do the maths here kids, a City win 18%.

    Man Utd 0-0 Man City

De Bruyne is finding a lot of space in the United half. He picks up the ball and releases Sterling down the right but his pull-back is cut out and cleared.

United's first attack comes on the counter as Wayne Rooney finds Henrikh Mkhitaryan but his lay-off is fired over from range by Paul Pogba.

City have settled the better. They are passing the ball around with a lot of confidence, so Manchester United will need to hold a very disciplined shape throughout the game. Whenever the ball crosses the halfway line United are trying to win it back.

  5. Celtic take the leadpublished at 12:35 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Celtic 1-0 Rangers

A graphic just flashed up on screen which said that in the previous five minutes Celtic had 92% of possession, so it's perhaps no surprise that the hosts have taken the lead.

Former Fulham striker Moussa Dembele rises highest to thump home a header from an inswinging corner.

  8. Postpublished at 3 mins

    Man Utd 0-0 Man City

City with much of the early ball. United happy to let them have it in their own half.

Jose won't be happy to see them get in down the left, though, as Kevin de Bruyne's low cross flies in front of Kelechi Iheanacho and Raheem Sterling.

    Man Utd 0-0 Man City

Zlatan is straight into the action, tackling Bacary Sagna and drawing a cheer from the home crowd. Get one in early, let him know you're there.

James in London: Joel from Luton, had that scenario a few years ago when England were playing rugby, try and sweet talk the receptionists into lending you a room to watch game. Worked brilliantly but unfortunately word got out and about 20 of the wedding party were in room watching including the father of the bride. I wasn't very popular but we won!

To the lucky bride, we are in no way responsible for subverting your wedding...

  13. 'It's good for the Premier League'published at 12:28 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Man Utd v Man City (12:30 BST)

    Chris Waddle

Jose and Pep coming here have made this game bigger and this league bigger. People have chased Guardiola to manage at their clubs for years. It's good for the Premier League, there's no doubt about that.

  14. 'The managers' rivalry add that little extra spice'published at 12:27 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Trevor Sinclair

Everyone is looking to Manchester right now as the world capital of football. For either side a win today would be a great way to put a marker down, to be the boss of Manchester and to say 'we are going to win the title this year'.

And the managers' rivalry add that little extra spice - I can't wait for the game.

  19. Lawro takes on former WWE starpublished at 12:25 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    (at predictions, not play fighting)

This weekend Mark Lawrenson takes on former WWE star and Hollywood actor Dave Bautista in his predictions.

Bautista is one of the stars of Final Score, an action movie being filmed at Upton Park.

Lawro reckons United will win 1-0, with Bautista going for 5-0.

However that is partly "because Noel Gallagher gave me major harassment".

  20. 'Guardiola is not King Midas'published at 12:24 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Man Utd v Man City (12:30 BST)

    BBC Radio 5 live

Graham Hunter, Spanish football expert, on 5 live Sport: "Pep Guardiola is not King Midas, touching things and they turn to gold. He transfers knowledge and teaches his players to play the football we all ooh and aah over.

"In this game, never in his coaching career has Pep kicked off a match so early in the day. Usually, on the morning of a big game he passes across a lot of information to his players. So usually in these big matches he's a) had more time with his players and b) it hasn't come off the back of an international break.

"He hasn't had the time today, plus some of his players are relatively new to him. It'll be fascinating."
