    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Watford look more of a threat than ever. But it's all in vain now. Too late. A bit like my spotting of Kenedy's magnificent 'tache.

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Isaac Success is a bag of tricks, get him in the starting XI. He dances past Ben Mee and sees a low cross hacked clear. Watford have belatedly come to the party here. Only alcopops and plain crisps left though.

  3. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Brilliant solo work from Isaac Success, who is so close to his first goal in the Premier League. He gets the ball on the left and just runs through two men, into the penalty area and then, with everyone waiting for a cutback, he shoots from the acutest of angles and Tom Heaton turns it away!

He was no more than a foot away from finding the far corner.

George Boyd! Sam Vokes' shot falls at the feet of the former Peterborough man, on the right of the penalty area. He doesn't know whether to shoot or cross and in the end does neither really, putting it throat high across the area and Heurelho Gomes turns it away. If he just squared it on the floor Jeff Hendrick had a tap-in.

We'd all settle for something ridiculous in this last 12 minutes. For either side. Kenedy looks bright on the left but he runs into a cul-de-sac. It's a mishmash of a performance from Watford.

Burnley are very comfortable at the moment but there still is that nervousness. Little bit of an edge that if Watford were to get one it might cause Burnley one or two problems. But Watford are going to have to come up with something ridiculous to get a goal. They just don't look like scoring.

Burnley understandably taking their time at every opportunity now. Seeing the game out.

Kenedy coming on - he is another player with a lot to prove. I saw him once or twice at Chelsea last season. He has a bit of pace, he has got a trick. Let's see how he does.

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Roberto Pereyra is not sent off, as he gets replaced instead. Kenedy, who looked decent for Chelsea at times last season, is on.

Lots of pace in this Watford team now. Can they use it?

  12. Postpublished at 72 mins

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

The home fans want a red card as Roberto Pereyra brings down his man in midfield, he's already been booked. That's just a foul though. Not every foul is a booking.

Watford have changed their system since their changes but whatever it is they've done Troy Deeney still looks isolated. Isaac Success is wide on the right with Odion Ighalo on the left. They have 20 minutes to launch a rescue act.

Alec Baldwin! Yes. I'm happy with that. Watford of course had Hugh Laurie last time out. Sourcing their managers from Hollywood.

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Isaac Success has added some threat up front for Watford as he puts himself about, but the Nigerian goes into the book for jumping into Stephen Ward. If Watford score next then we'll see how Burnley's nerves are...

And that is a chance! Isaac Success wins a free-kick, hit into the wall but then volleyed back in by Etienne Capoue, Troy Deeney feasts on the loose ball but his shot from close-range is somehow turned wide by a combination of goalkeeper and defender.

    Some very determined last-ditch defending.

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Watford captain Troy Deeney is getting more and more frustrated by the minute and this is his first real clear look at goal as he times his run well to meet a deep cross from Roberto Pereyra, but then times his actual header horribly. It's such a weak effort that it bounces twice before reaching Tom Heaton in goal.

  18. CLOSE!published at 60 mins

    Burnley 2-0 Watford

Watford beat Manchester United last time out but the Premier League is bringing them back to earth with a thump at Turf Moor. Limp and lifeless. Like a bad prawn sandwich if you will.

And Burnley go close to a third as Steven Defour crashes in a shot from 20 yards, Heurelho Gomes can only push it out and Ben Mee and Sam Vokes get in each other's way! Would have been a tap-in - but they were both offside anyway.

Watford have to change something. It has been awful. Burnley just have to win this now. They say no game is easy in the Premier League but this is as easy as it gets.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 57 mins

So just half an hour or so left for Watford to recover. They've only mustered two shots on target all night but they have the man with the best name around on the bench. And here he comes.

ISAAC SUCCESS. He's on. Replaces Nordin Amrabat.
