Ricardo Horta for Spain, such a dynamic player at Málaga, great on the wing and can cut inside and unleash some superb swirling shots. Young talent who has been overlooked.

Burnley manager Sean Dyche on former club Watford: "It's well-documented I've always had respect for the club.

"The situation, the business changed etc etc but I mean every word when I say I had a fantastic time there as player, youth coach, assistant manager and manager.

"Because business changes and you lose your job it doesn't mean I hold any baggage at all, I certainly don't. It's a lot of water under the bridge and they've gone on to become a Premier League club so their model of working has worked for them."

    Burnley v Watford (20:00 BST)

    Mark Lawrenson
    BBC Sport guru

This is a big game for Burnley because the onus is on them to win it. Their attacking record is poor - they are in the bottom two for shots at goal and shots on target this season.

Watford generally play two up front, or a derivation of that, so if I am Sean Dyche I am thinking we have got to go for it in this one. I think Burnley might nick it too.

    Prediction: 2-1

See how Lawro's predictions have worked out thus far here.

Matt Price: England never seems to pick players from the Championship, but if they did... Tammy Abraham? he's on fire!

The big show: Troy Deeney for England, he is 100% deserving of a place in the squad always a professional and one of the hardest workers

I've always enjoyed a visit to Turf Moor. The view from the press box out across the hills is as good as most grounds these days, and there's a sense of history about the place.

A bit too much, in some areas. Which is the most recent photo out of these three?

Watford head coach Walter Mazzarri: "We have shown that we can fight against anyone, but the real step forward I want to see is how we will behave against a club like Burnley.

"I haven't been here long and I need to verify the progress of this team, and we will see on Monday night what the progress is."

Big Sam's first England squad was much of a muchness, with West Ham winger Michail Antonio the only new face involved.

But, with Walter Mazzarri championing the cause of Troy Deeney, are there new gems out there who deserve a go on the international scene?

  13. Deeney for England?published at 18:57 British Summer Time 26 September 2016

    Burnley v Watford (20:00 BST)

    Troy DeeneyImage source, Getty Images

Watford captain Troy Deeney should be given an England call-up, his club manager Walter Mazzarri has claimed.

Uncapped Deeney, 28, who signed a new five-year deal in the summer, scored in successive victories over West Ham and Manchester United.

Italian Mazzarri said: "Of course he is international level."

England manager Sam Allardyce will announce his squad later this week for the World Cup qualifiers against Malta and Slovenia.

Allardyce needs a replacement for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, who is facing a lengthy spell out after he injured his ankle this month.

Speaking through an interpreter, Mazzarri added: "I would be proud and really happy if Deeney went to the national team."

Troy Deeney has scored in three of his last five games against Burnley, though all of these goals came at Vicarage Road.

Deeney currently has 98 goals in all competitions for Watford. Only Luther Blissett, Tommy Barnett, Ross Jenkins and Cliff Holton have previously reached the century for the club.

He scored his first goal for the Hornets in a League Cup defeat at home to Notts County in August 2010.

    Burnley v Watford (20:00 BST)

    Steve Wilson
Match of the Day commentator at Turf Moor

All the so-called golden football rules of seeking to maintain a stable squad and continuity in the manager's seat have been scrunched up into a ball of so much rubbish, and lobbed unceremoniously into the Vicarage Road bin by Watford's owning Pozzo family.

One of Gino Pozzo's first acts as owner in 2012 was to sack Sean Dyche, even though Watford had just finished in their highest league position for four years.

Since then Gianfranco Zola, Beppe Samino, Oscar Garcia, Billy McKinlay, Slavisa Jokanovic, Quique Flores and now Walter Mazzari have been appointed Hornets' boss.

Meanwhile Dyche has found a home at Turf Moor - where they tend not to turf out their managers quite so regularly.

The approach is different, the progress similar - so stand by for the first ever top flight meeting of Burnley and Watford.

Andre Gray's only goal this season came against Liverpool

Andre Gray has been a key man for Burnley since his big-money move from Brentford in the summer of 2015, as his 24 goals in 46 starts saw them promoted to the top flight.

But they will have to find another way to victory tonight, as Gray starts a four-match suspension after being found guilty of misconduct in relation to comments he posted on social media.

Gray, 25, had been charged by the Football Association for bringing the game into disrepute over homophobic posts he made on Twitter in 2012.

He apologised and asked "for forgiveness" for the posts, saying he was now a "different person".

But, perhaps crucially, 12 of their 16 Premier League wins have come at home.

Burnley have had a predictably tough start to the season back in the top flight but a home game against Watford must have been circled with a fat red marker pen in Sean Dyche's office all summer.

It's on TV, Watford have started well, but this is already a big game for the Clarets.

Can they win without Andre Gray?
