And Burton Albion have signed Sheffield United defender John Brayford, eight years after he last played for the club in non-league.

Brayford is well known to Brewers boss Nigel Clough, having played for him at both Derby and the Blades.

Championship side Reading have this morning completed the signing of centre-back Liam Moore from Leicester City for an undisclosed fee.

Moore hasn't signed in time to make his debut against leaders Brighton today.

There are also a couple of signings that have gone through to tell you about.

There's other football action going on this afternoon in the Premier League.

Anyway, two Sergio Aguero goals have Manchester City 2-0 up at Stoke, which is just typical as I don't have the Argentine in my fantasy team.

Leeds continue to offer a threat at Hillsborough as Hadi Sacko skips away from his marker but sees his low cross blocked behind for a corner.

Without that Chris Wood would have had a tap-in.

There nearly was there though! Liam Cooper fouls Almen Abdi 20 yards out and the Sheffield Wednesday midfielder picks himself up to curl a free-kick over the wall which clips the top of the bar and goes over.

Meanwhile, somewhere in there Barry Bannan was shown a yellow card. The midfielder will have to be careful.

We're closing in on the interval at Hillsborough and there's currently nothing to separate the two Yorkshire rivals.

It all went a little bit quiet at Hillsborough for a while as the game descended into a bit of a midfield battle.

Then, all of a sudden, Leeds create another opening and it takes a fine block by Jack Hunt to keep out Chris Wood's volley from eight yards.

Leeds go close again at Hillsborough. Hadi Sacko takes Ronaldo Vieira's pass on his chest and smuggles the ball under the body of Keiren Westwood only to see it roll agonisingly wide of the post.

This is a good spell from the visitors as Marcus Antonsson then fires wide from 20 yards. And the Yorkshire Evening Post's Phil Hay agrees.
