Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius, speaking before kick-off at the Liberty Stadium: "Today's not going to be easy. Swansea are a good team and have been unlucky. They can play but we know what's going to come, we are prepared.
"I don't know how busy I will be but I don't mind a quiet one. A first Premier League clean sheet is what we are aiming for."

They've just had a minute's applause for ex-Swansea and Wales footballer Mel Charles, who died last week, aged 81.
The younger brother of John Charles, Mel played 31 times for Wales and was in the team that reached the quarter-finals of the World Cup in 1958.

While Francesco Guidolin probably won't be talking to mortgage advisors in South Wales anytime soon, Liverpool counterpart Jurgen Klopp might be tempted to lay some roots on Merseyside. He's here to stay.
The German says he could see himself ending his managerial career at Anfield.
"I don't know if I will be back in Germany as a coach yet," the 49-year-old told a German television station this week. "It's very, very unlikely that I will still be sitting on the bench when I am 60.
"And, if at the end of my career I only got to coach Mainz, Dortmund and Liverpool, then it will certainly have been three fantastic clubs."

Francesco Guidolin probably has been judged too soon. But that's the way the Premier League is. The pressure is on, but he'll accept that. They haven't been playing that well, but not that bad either.
Swansea have had a really tough run of games. Isn't that always the way when you are under pressure?
Swansea v Liverpool (12:30 BST)
You've got to give Francesco Guidolin credit for his realism. Most embattled managers would dismiss their job was on the line when quizzed about their future by reporters.
But the Swansea gaffer was refreshingly honest when asked whether defeat against Liverpool could end his tenure.
"It could happen. Maybe," said the Italian. "But if we win on Saturday for the period of the international break you don't speak any more about my position.
"But my position is not important, Swansea's league position is important, and we must get a result."

Simon Brotherton
Match of the Day commentator at Liberty Stadium
"It's too early to tell where Liverpool's excellent early-season form may take them, but if they play like they did when I saw them at Chelsea recently it could be a long afternoon for the home side.
"These are worrying times for Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin, with pressure mounting and the team winless in the league since the opening day of the season.
"They produced a battling performance against Manchester City last week but chairman Huw Jenkins has apparently been sounding out possible managerial replacements.
"The Swans won this fixture 3-1 back in May, but a similar scoreline this weekend would be a major surprise."

Samuel Hill: Not so much a match but when Mandaric appointed Rix as manager of Pompey instead of Stevie Claridge's assistant. My heart sank.
Tom Franks: As a Sunderland fan, most matches have this affect
Sean Wilkinson: Losing 6-1 against stoke, Stevie's last game for the club, beginning of the end for Rodgers, humiliating last game for Gerrard!

Swansea boss Francesco Guidolin, speaking to Sky Sports: "We are working hard in this period but we need a good result. We played well in the last game against Man City But we need a result. We are focused on this game and it's a difficult game.
"We showed against City we can play against a big teams. Liverpool is another big team. For my players it's important because it's important to be confident. Fernando Llorente had a injury in training and is not available. Borja Baston is an important player and I trust him."
Swansea v Liverpool (12:30 BST)
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, speaking to Sky Sports: "One change? It's a sign of performance in training. I am always looking for good things and also for weakness. If someone shows me they are not in the race, or if I have misjudged something I will change.
"It's a good line-up and a strong line-up and even a good bench. It's important we keep the momentum and go back to the base and try again. Keep it simple with that experience of being successful.
"We have to learn and that's why we put big expectations on ourselves. We are desperate and highly motivated. The Swansea manager is doing a brilliant job. Four points at this point is not what they expect. But they will strike back."

While Liverpool go in search of a fourth straight Premier League win which would lift them up to second in the table, Swansea City are enduring a torrid spell.
Head coach Francesco Guidolin’s future hangs in the balance with his side just one point above the relegation zone and without a win since the opening day of the season.
Ryan Giggs and Bob Bradley are among those who are being considered as potential successors and, writing in today’s match programme, Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins appears to be feeling the strain.
“The last year or so has been the hardest we’ve endured since I became chairman over 12 years ago,” he says.
“I’m sure most of us have become accustomed to the stories that hit the headlines, but it doesn’t half hurt when it’s your own club making the headlines for the wrong reasons.”
