Alex Thrower in Chelsea: Got to be Bradford beating us 4-2 at home in the FA Cup. My mates and I had a bad feeling before the match, we left promptly and quietly.

James O'Hara: I'll always love Liverpool. But we lost to Chelsea 2-0 at Anfield and the title disappeared on my 40th birthday.Spirit breaker.

Daz in Birmingham: Tony Pulis 'style' made me fall out of love at WBA. After years of terrible football, I stayed around in the 3rd div etc... but his 'style' killed me off.

    Jonathan Pearce
    Match of the Day commentator

"West Ham's new home seems badly disconnected with their fans, and their season is desperate on all fronts.

"They've lost five of their opening six league games of a season for the first time ever. They are reportedly investigating claims that players were drunk this week. Their signing of Enner Valencia may now face probes after the Sam Allardyce allegations.

"Boro also look troubled. Three defeats on the spin, just five shots on target away and only two wins in 22 trips to London. The Hammers need a redemptive win to calm concerns but it's crucial for both sides."

West Ham manager Slaven Bilic says he will give "almost" the same squad that lost at home to Southampton a chance of redemption this weekend.

Havard Nordtveit will miss the game following a minor medical procedure, while Aaron Cresswell, Andy Carroll, Andre Ayew and Diafra Sakho remain out.

Middlesbrough winger Adama Traore is pushing for a start after an impressive cameo against Tottenham.

Defender Fabio Da Silva is back in training and could feature.

    Steve Wilson
    Match of the Day commentator

"As Eddie Howe again finds himself talking about the possibility of being an England manager of the future, a visit to Vicarage Road will rake up some unpleasant memories from the past.

"It's only three years since a Bournemouth side containing seven contenders for a starting berth on Saturday were thrashed 6-1 on Watford soil - Howe's heaviest ever defeat as a manager.

"Watford's Troy Deeney bagged a hat-trick that day - he needs only two more goals to become just the fifth Watford player to reach a century of goals for the club.

"Watford were so poor at Burnley on Monday that some reaction is surely guaranteed - if not, Howe's side could be set fair for a first away win since April."

Watford defenders Craig Cathcart and Miguel Britos are both doubful with groin injuries.

That could means a start for Younes Kaboul, who was on the bench last week on his return from a hamstring injury.

Bournemouth's Joshua King is still nursing a hamstring injury but has been in light training this week.

Marc Pugh faces further time on the sidelines with a similar problem but Adam Smith is fit despite taking a knock to the face last weekend.

Dan Bell: Gateshead 0-3 Macclesfield last season… games like that make you want a divorce but a few hours of reflection and you move on to the next game. Ironically the player who scored the hat trick for Mac that day now plays for us.

Dean Webb: Newcastle away last season was the breaking point of two years of the most boring unattractive unproductive football I have had the misfortune to watch in forty years of watching my beloved West Brom. Alan Irvine and now Tony Pullis have squeezed all the enjoyment out of going to watch the Baggies.

Simon Hawley: When you're a Stoke fan you normally fall out of love with them around 4:50pm on a Saturday. Then you have a moan, forget about it, and love your team again in time for the next game.

Sunderland v West Brom (15:00 BST)

    Guy Mowbray
    Match of the Day commentator

"There haven't been many mentions of Sunderland amidst this week's sorry England tale. There should have been.

"We'll never know, but if Sam Allardyce had stayed they might not have been in their latest sorry state. As for what else might not have happened...

"Staying with fantastical thoughts, it's possible that David Moyes' managerial career might not have happened in the same way had Tony Pulis' Gillingham not won at Preston in January 1998, prompting Gary Peters to resign and make way for a 34-year-old Moyes to take over at Deepdale.

"Some 'what ifs' that bring the film Sliding Doors to mind. It makes a change from Sunderland's usual - Groundhog Day."

Sunderland will have to make enforced changes against West Brom, with Adnan Januzaj, Steven Pienaar and Lee Cattermole all ruled out by injuries.

Vito Mannone, Sebastian Larsson, Victor Anichebe and Fabio Borini are also sidelined.

Saido Berahino is available for West Brom after missing last week's draw at Stoke with a stomach bug.

James Morrison is pushing for a first start since suffering a hamstring injury in January.

Francesco Manfredi: England v Iceland. This was the day when I truly realised, that our players are a bunch of overrated, overpaid pigs who can't handle pressure. But I will always love football, and England! Never fallen out of love with the game.

Geoff Gibson: Last week when Sunderland lost 2-3 to Crystal Palace

Andrew Thayne: Every match with Villa, and then the foolish hope that it might change the start of the next game...and then I got off the bus, ahhhh

Before we get on to the early team news for this match at the Stadium of Light, watch a bit of Moyesy from his interview on Football Focus (more on that in a bit).

He talks about his management style - so would that be stating that Sunderland would be battling against the drop this campaign?

Just thought I'd bring that up.

    Hull v Chelsea (15:00 BST)

    Martin Fisher
    Match of the Day commentator

"The harsh realities of life back in the Premier League have come crashing down on Hull, overwhelmed by both Arsenal and Liverpool, shipping nine goals in the process.

"Chelsea have been well beaten by that pair themselves in recent weeks, halting early encouraging signs that Antonio Conte wouldn't take long to sort out last season's mess.

"A win at the KCOM Stadium will put them back on track. Defeat is almost unthinkable, especially as they've only lost four times to Hull in their history."
