  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:24 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

A very early change for Manchester City as Fernando the handbrake comes off and Ilkay Gundogan comes on.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

Manchester City look ragged - but with the quality they have you get the feeling that they can score in an instant.

And they nearly do. Fernandinho slides Sergio Aguero clear with a lovely pass in behind, he's on his left foot and shoots, not the best strike, but Hugo Lloris makes a mess of gathering it and is very relieved to see the ball pop up off his body and against the crossbar.

City then win a free-kick in a good area, and Danny Rose is another man perhaps relieved not to see a second yellow card coming his way.

  3. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:19 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

Victor Wanyama almost makes it three! A driving run through the middle (how many times have we said that about Spurs today?) and he gets a shot off from 20 yards which Claudio Bravo has to push away. Spurs all over City like a rash.

  4. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Southampton

And we are back up and running in Leicester too.

  5. CLOSE!published at 15:17 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

What a poor start from the leaders! Aleksandar Kolarov has time to clear but can only pick out Son Heung-min 35 yards from goal, he has time to cut on to his left foot and shoot wide. Very shoddy start from City.

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

Back under way at the Lane where the only change is referee Andre Marriner changing his kit from pink to green.

  7. 'More like the Stoke of old'published at 15:16 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Manchester United 1-1 Stoke

Stoke manger Mark Hughes: "I'm really pleased with the performance we put in today. We had a good game plan and executed to the letter.

"You have to play well to get anything from Old Trafford. We were solid and looked dangerous on the break. All in all, going behind in the game was hard on us but it was a great finish. It was a good finish but we kept on doing the right things, kept our shape, and waited for an opportunity and thankfully we got it with Joe, who was immense for us today.

"He's got great energy and awareness. he's sees things earlier than most people. Delighted for him and for the lads as well. We've shown today that we're a good side, organised and we've got good games coming up that we'll look to win."

Here we go then - here come the sides again. Can City come back from here?

Jack Grummitt-Carel: Amazing how so many that effused about City over the past months have turned within 45 minutes. God, football's a fickle game.

Bishop Yinkus: Spurs versus City going according to the way I want. Not plain sailing for Pep Guardiola after all.

Princewill Nwosu: Can Spurs now be considered as tittle contenders? They've been absolutely brilliant while Man City have been average.

City have never won a Premier League game having been two or more goals down at half-time.

They've drawn one and lost 47.

  11. Spurs turning the tables on Man Citypublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at White Hart Lane

Pep Guardiola likes his teams to press high up the pitch but Spurs are beating them at their own game so far in a magnificent first 45 minutes.

Spurs are not giving City a second as they combine fierce intensity with pace and quality.

Guardiola's record of six wins from six Premier League games is under serious threat and he will need to do some fast talking at half-time.

  12. 'Leicester are missing a bit of zip'published at 15:07 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Southampton

    Matt Elliott

The biggest positive for Leicester is Southampton are making mistakes, but the Saints have been a much better team. Leicester are going from one extreme to the other. They are slow if they build up slowly while their direct football has not worked.

Leicester are not physically too bad mentally they are not as intense. Someone needs to spark them into life. Vardy is not razor sharp, Mahrez has been a bit off the pace, Drinkwater is trying to produce something. But there's not enough life and energy. They are missing that bit of zip.

  13. 'A huge result for us'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Manchester United 1-1 Stoke

    Stoke City

Stoke manager Mark Hughes: "It's a huge result for us. We have started the season not as well as we hoped. We knew when we got points on the board then we'll still go close to the targets we set ourselves. It will be an unexpected point in the eyes of a lot of people.

"You look at the opening six or seven games we had an they are difficult fixtures. We are not a million miles away from where we thought. We were maybe one win short of what we expected.

"It's a big performance and a big result. I've seen it coming with the results recently and we have carried on in that ilk. We were solid and organised. We showed our fortitude and were not to be denied today. We have been behind and gone a bit too gung-ho but today we were patient. I think it's what we deserved."

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

Claudio Bravo takes an age on the ball, too long with Son Heung-min around and he's almost tackled inside his six-yard box. The keeper still doesn't just clear it, taking another touch before finding a team-mate out wide. I'm sure he had it under control but he is a nervy watch at times...

  19. 'Leicester are a bit flat'published at 14:54 British Summer Time 2 October 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Southampton

    Matt Elliott
Former Leicester City captain at Kingpower Stadium for BBC Radio Leicester

Leicester are a little bit spaced out. Their play is too long and too slow. They need to be quick and incisive in their play. The supporters are subdued and not as lively as usual. It's all a bit flat.

    Tottenham 2-0 Manchester City

Manchester City's perfect record is in real threat now. Can Spurs keep this level of play up? They have swamped the leaders for most of the half.
