A decent result for Arsenal tonight and if we finish second with 14 points that would be harsh. Mind you Bayern and possibly Real lie in wait for group winners....

    Dave, Surrey

How do PSG go top of group A if Arsenal have the same points and a better goal difference? What am I missing here?

    Anon

We can actually help here - head-to-head record is used to divide teams level on points. And a 2-2 draw away from home for PSG trumps a 1-1 draw in Paris for Arsenal.

    Arsenal 2-2 Paris St-Germain

    Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "You have to consider two things. The intensity we put in and the result. We gave a lot tonight and we came back from 1-0 down to lead 2-1 and then gave away an own goal. But we played a good side.

"We had good spells in the game but we could not dominate. Tonight my concern is that we were 2-1 up and allowed them to come back at us. It's difficult to understand how easy we gave away a goal at a corner,

"We lack something in our creativity but we got a point. It might not be enough but you never know."

Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs: "When you're 2-1 up, you want to finish the job so obviously it's disappointing. It's something that we can learn from and we want to improve.

"We could have been technically better and more dangerous tonight.

"Overall, I think a draw was what we deserved. When we picked up momentum we looked very dangerous, it's just about how we do that more consistently."
