Jason Moore: For as good as Cavani's movement is, his finishing is absolutely abysmal.

Benhard Naweseb: Cavani is not world class.

OGIDIOMO: Cavani. Clinical and also ordinary at times! What was that?

JavelBleach: Cavani should have a hattrick of tap-ins already tonight!

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Celtic 0-2 Barcelona

Luis Suarez smashes the post after Lionel Messi had served it him up on a plate. What a chance!

  3. SITTER!published at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Arsenal 2-2 Paris St-Germain

Goodness me he misses some chances! Edinson Cavani meets a peach of a cross from the right from Lucas, he's diving to meet it but can only glance it wide from maybe four yards out. Got to score!

    Celtic 0-2 Barcelona

    Tom English

So easy for Barcelona now. Celtic's energy tanks seem to have emptied. If results stay this way they will have no European football after Christmas, not even Europa League. A grim prospect.

Since Dembele failed to make it 1-1 with that close-range header early in the second-half, Celtic fans haven't had much to get excited about. Most of the noise has been directed at Neymar, who was a bit fortunate not to sent off before he was taken off. The home support let him have it as he went. The Brazilian, it has to be said, didn't look all that bothered.

  6. All set for a big finishpublished at 21:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Arsenal 2-2 Paris St-Germain

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Emirates Stadium

This is wide open now - and Edinson Cavani is once again a mixed bag. He scores a poacher's goal then tries a Hollywood finish with a chip that Ospina saves.

Cavani gets so many chances. Luckily for Arsenal he has been hit and miss tonight,

Edinson Cavani breaks clear of the Arsenal defence, goes for an ambitious long-range chip but can't get it over the head of David Ospina who is able to make the save.

    Arsenal 2-2 Paris St-Germain

That goal means that PSG top the group again on head-to-head records as a 2-2 draw here trumps Arsenal's 1-1 draw in Paris.

    Lucas (77 mins)

Dreadful defending all round from Arsenal allows PSG back into the game. Lucas heads a corner back across goal but the ball is heading straight into the gloves of David Ospina until Alex Iwobi turns to head into his own net.

Lucas has been credited with the goal, for now at least. OG in my book...

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Celtic 0-2 Barcelona

Mikael Lustig is not a man who is too bothered by reputation - he had a bust-up with Neymar a few minutes ago, the pair were both booked and that means Neymar will miss the next game.

Then, when Neymar is subbed a few minutes later Lustig moves across to tell him to get a shift on...

432: People are being a bit harsh on Arsenal here. PSG are the top seeds in this group and one of the top teams in Europe.

Julian Tsang: So Arsenal may finally finish top of their group. Yet still may get matched up against Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the last 16.

Harrison Akoh: It's time for Ramsey to come out. He's been playing sideways, backwards to whole night...

With around 20 minutes to go, here's how we are looking:

Arsenal will win Group A, with PSG also going through.

Manchester City are qualifying behind Barcelona, with Celtic bottom.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 November 2016

    Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 Manchester City

Two bookings in quick succession as first Bacary Sagna and then Ilkay Gundogan are caught by heavy, late challenges. Can City get a winner? Twenty minutes to go.

    Atletico Madrid 2-0 PSV Eindhoven

An assist and now a goal for Antoine Griezmann this evening.

Strangely, that is the first time ever he has provided both in a single Champions League game.

15 points out of 15 for Atletico in Group D.

Lionel Messi for the hat-trick...? No! He rolls a shot, almost walking pace, across goal and past a wrong-footed Craig Gordon, but it creeps inches past the post...
