Manchester City 1-1 Celtic
Manchester City
City finished second in Group C and as a result will play a group winner in the last 16. They cannot play Barcelona or another English side.
So that leaves:
Napoli, Atletico Madrid, Monaco, one of Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid and one of Juventus or Sevilla.
Arsenal
Arsenal won Group A and will play a group runner-up in the last 16.
They cannot play an English side, or PSG, so that leaves:
Benfica, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund or Real Madrid, Porto or Copenhagen, and one of Juventus, Sevilla or Lyon.
I think. That group is complicated.

Celtic, given two or three years of Premier League money, would quite quickly be strong enough to hold their own in the English top-flight.
But at the moment they are a good distance away from not being bottom-ish.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger: "I thought Ludugorets were a good side - they made a great result that helps us top the group, which was what we wanted
"We did the job in a convincing way, we were mobile and overall had a committed performance.
"It is difficult to know but you feel a bit less guilty if you have a bad draw if first than second - we have done our job and let's see what happens.
"I think Perez took advantage of the fact we created good chances - he is a goalscorer you know, he has shown tonight he has a good smell for the goal."

James in Farnborough: What a load of Arsenal hype. They'll be out in the last 16 along with City and Leicester. Why are all these fans deluding themselves?
Jack: Let's not get too carried away about Celtic, they've drawn twice against a City side yet to hit the heights they're capable of, and one of those was a dead rubber where a number of changes had been made. Hardly cause for rabid optimism.
That's the spirit gents!

Manchester City defender Gael Clichy: "Patrick Roberts is a quality player, we are happy he is doing well on loan. It was a good game, we are through and can look forward to the next game.
"We haven't been lucky in the last few games with refereeing decisions but perhaps tonight we were. A team like us should expect to win more than two games in the group."

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny on BT Sport: "We had a small chance to finish first tonight - after PSG last time we said we had one more game, we did our job and PSG did not.
"It is important to finish first because we have a second game at home but we will have a big team so we will see who we get in the draw."
In the excitement, Benfica did pull a goal back in their match with Napoli, but that wasn't enough to prevent the visitors winning the match 2-1 and progressing as group leaders, with Benfica second. The less said about Besiktas, who lost 6-0 at Dyanmo Kiev, the better.
Barcelona beat Borussia Monchengladbach 4-0 to underscore their position as Group A winners, while Bayern Munich beat Atletico, but still finished behind them in Group D.
Elsewhere, PSV drew 0-0 with FC Rostov in Eindhoven, meaning it is the visitors who qualify for the Europa League.
Manchester City 1-1 Celtic
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers: "We were absolutely brilliant tonight in everything we did. We pressed the ball and forced them to kick it long, it's a huge compliment for us. We were superb on the ball, played through the pressure and created chances.
"We have grown in belief the more we have worked together. We are disappointed not to have won at least one of the games against City.
"Patrick Roberts scored a brilliant goal and he could have had a penalty but it was right on the line. It was incredible performance by him."

Vincent Wood: It's getting harder & harder to be a pessimistic Arsenal fan.
Dave disagrees, Vincent...
Dave Wood: Calm down Gooners, you know what's coming in the draw.

Man City striker Kelechi Iheanacho: "They are a good side with quality players and we are pleased to get a draw. It wasn't the result we wanted but we are pleased. We responded well to going behind and I am pleased to score.
"I have the responsibility now to be the striker in the team and replace Sergio for four games."

Basically, Manchester City reserves drew 1-1 with Celtic. Some of the young players did well, particularly Toisin Adarabioyo after a shaky start.
For City, it was about who did enough to play themselves into the first team - not many did. I was particularly disappointed with Leroy Sane.
When he fancied it he drove past Celtic players with ease. Problem was he didn't fancy it very often.
Celtic can be proud of themselves. they worked hard, battled, scrapped and played to the best level they could.

Manchester City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola: "I am so happy for the young players, we played well. There is no pressure on Kelechi Iheanacho, he just has to do his job.
"Patrck Roberts' goal was fantastic, he is a good player. We will think about him at the end of the season.
"Maybe one day we will get a penalty - ask the referee, every game it is like this."
Eyes down....
Brendan Rodgers bingo: courageous - growth - development.

Arsene Wenger said yesterday that the priority here was winning the game and said he would be surprised if Ludogorets got something at Paris St-Germain.
Arsenal have pulled off the unlikely thanks to the combination of their win and the draw in Paris. Now they really hope will be rewarded with a 'kinder' draw int he last 16.
