Celtic have looked better at the start of the second half. After City dominated the last 15 minutes of the first half, Celtic have upped it and are back in the faces of the City defence. They are not letting them pass the ball out easily. When they do pass it out they look need and tidy.

    Alex Iwobi (53 mins)

Champagne football from Arsenal, who are really turning on the style in Basel. A brilliant move down the left sees Alexis Sanchez send Mesut Ozil into the area, he could shoot but instead cuts it back for nephew of the great one Alex Iwobi to slam home from eight yards.

After assisting Lionel Messi's opener, Arda Turan has doubled Barcelona's lead against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Barca are guaranteed top spot in Group C, with Manchester City second, regardless of whether they can get a victory against Celtic...

Happy night for Arsenal, happy night for Lucas Perez. He signed for big money, but has not really done it.

The pass was fizzed in and he shot across the keeper into the bottom corner.

Now Arsenal are hoping for Ludogorets to hang on.

Brendan Rodgers has really brought back the feel good factor at Celtic. You only need to look at our attendances this season to see that. They have been a joy to watch for a lot of the season but up against some great teams in the CL.

Arran Higgs: Anyone name another LB/RB to have a hat trick of assists for an opposite winger to get a hat trick?!

Azza Gold: Gibbs has been amazing!

We've just been saying that ourselves, Azza.

    Lucas Perez HAT-TRICK (47 mins)

Lucas Perez hat-trick anyone? Extraordinary. Another assist for Kieran Gibbs too as he plays it over the top, Perez hits it hard and low through the crisp-packet wrists of Tomas Vaclik and in. Emphatically job done for Arsenal.

Alex Phelan: Brendan Rodgers is so far off the calibre of an Arsenal manager that even asking the question is ludicrous. Class B at best.

Tunde Akere Lawal: Brendan Rodgers will be a great manager for Arsenal, he believes in youths, which is the cardinal point of Arsenal philosophy

A mixed bag of support for Brendan Rodgers as Arsenal manager so far. No doubts in the mind of my favourite respondent however...

Maybe Besiktas really fancy a run in the Europa League this year?

An own goal from Atiba Hutchinson ensures that the Turkish club go into halftime in a match that they had to win against Dynamo Kiev 4-0 down.

Their gaffer will really earn his corn at half-time if they pull anything out of this one...

It has been a very good show by Arsene Wenger's team so far. They have been at it from the start. I'm sure Wenger will be feeling good - he will be well aware of the scoreline.

He's grabbed this game by the scruff of the neck and hoping that Ludogorets will do a favour for them. So far it's working out well for him.

    Phil McNulty

This Champions League game ran out of steam after a hectic start but still plenty of attacking play to enjoy.

Celtic, predictably under Brendan Rodgers, have come to give it a go, their approach helped by the fact there is nothing on the line.

It did have the feel of what it is, a dead rubber, as the half drew to a close.
