    Manchester City 1-1 Celtic

BBC Radio 5 live's senior football reporter

There's a skirmish at the far end of the ground. Punches are being traded. The stewards are in there trying to separate supporters. It is close to the travelling Celtic support but it is in the Manchester City end.

What a night this could be for Arsenal now. The draw comes on Monday remember and yes, they could end up with a tough draw even if they do win their group, but it's got to be good news in the long run hasn't it?

Paris St Germain, this isn't in the script! Ludogorets are back in front, and Unai Emery must be tearing his hair out!

And it's the magnificently named Wanderson who has done the damage, leaving the hosts needing two more goals to snatch first place in the group from Arsenal.

Over in Barcelona, Arda Turan has secured his hat-trick to make it 4-0 against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Alexis Sanchez's reaction when he saw his number was up was hilarious - he looked disgusted. Then he had a laugh and cuddle with Arsene Wenger when he came off.

A touch of crowd trouble in the area of the Etihad where home and away fans meet I'm afraid to report. Let's hope they get that under control.

An interesting development in Group B - Jose Callejon has just put Napoli ahead in Benfica, meaning they will top the group.

Don't worry Benfica fans though, you're still safely progressing. Besiktas? They've just conceded a fifth at Dynamo Kiev, with Serhiy Sydorchuk getting on the scoresheet.

It was a carbon copy of De Bruyne at the weekend - this time Nolito got it on target.

It is tight call by the assistant referee. He's just about got it right. A good call.

  9. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2016

    Basel 0-4 Arsenal

What a strike! Alexis Sanchez steps up and slams a free-kick over the wall, loads of swerve and bend, the keeper gives up on it and can only watch the shot smash the crossbar.

    So unlucky...

  10. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 6 December 2016

    Manchester City 1-1 Celtic

City have the ball in the net - but the flag is raised! Substitute Jesus Navas for once beats the first defender with his low cross, which is a peach, and Nolito cushions it into the roof of the net.

    But the flag is up...

Sorry Arsenal fans, the comeback is on in Paris.

Edinson Cavani has scored for Paris St Germain to bring them level with Ludogorets - they need to win to top Group A.

Arsenal are through regardless, of course, but topping the group will become important when the next round draw is made on Monday.

Some Arsenal players are impressing you tonight...

Ruridh 'Dr' Allen: Özil and Alexis are just on a different planet to other players out there. Best we've had since Bergkamp and Henry by a mile!

    ... but some aren't.

Black Einstein: Ramsey the new Cleverley. Side pass merchant.

Game wrapped up now for Arsenal. Lovely work. Take Sanchez off now before a good night's work is ruined with another key player out for 3 months.

With Arsenal doing the business - emphatically - the emphasis is on Paris St Germain to see who tops Group A.

And despite having had 17 shots and 65% of possession, the French champions still trail Ludogorets. Who'd have thought it?

Elsewhere, Arda Turan has doubled his tally for the evening to put Barcelona 3-0 up against Borussia Monchengladbach.

They've made a lot of changes and they were already through - but this has been another very good week for Arsenal so far. Nine goals in a few days - the real deal?

Eddie: 0-4 Job done. Hope Wenger withdraws Sanchez & Ozil soon to wrap'em up in cotton wool, ready for Stoke on Saturday.

Mark McCabe: For goodness sake Wenger, pay Sanchez and Ozil whatever they want!
