What a night this could be for Arsenal now. The draw comes on Monday remember and yes, they could end up with a tough draw even if they do win their group, but it's got to be good news in the long run hasn't it?

Paris St Germain, this isn't in the script! Ludogorets are back in front, and Unai Emery must be tearing his hair out!

And it's the magnificently named Wanderson who has done the damage, leaving the hosts needing two more goals to snatch first place in the group from Arsenal.

Over in Barcelona, Arda Turan has secured his hat-trick to make it 4-0 against Borussia Monchengladbach.

Alexis Sanchez's reaction when he saw his number was up was hilarious - he looked disgusted. Then he had a laugh and cuddle with Arsene Wenger when he came off.

A touch of crowd trouble in the area of the Etihad where home and away fans meet I'm afraid to report. Let's hope they get that under control.

Alexis Sanchez played nearly 70 minutes but he's now off for a breather, Olivier Giroud is on. Aaron Ramsey is also replaced by Mo Elneny. 

An interesting development in Group B - Jose Callejon has just put Napoli ahead in Benfica, meaning they will top the group.

Don't worry Benfica fans though, you're still safely progressing. Besiktas? They've just conceded a fifth at Dynamo Kiev, with Serhiy Sydorchuk getting on the scoresheet.

What a strike! Alexis Sanchez steps up and slams a free-kick over the wall, loads of swerve and bend, the keeper gives up on it and can only watch the shot smash the crossbar.

So unlucky...

City have the ball in the net - but the flag is raised! Substitute Jesus Navas for once beats the first defender with his low cross, which is a peach, and Nolito cushions it into the roof of the net.

But the flag is up...

Arsenal are through regardless, of course, but topping the group will become important when the next round draw is made on Monday.

They've made a lot of changes and they were already through - but this has been another very good week for Arsenal so far. Nine goals in a few days - the real deal?
