    Real Betis 1-6 Real Madrid

So, the top four in La Liga have all won today and scored 20 goals between them.

The status quo therefore remains with Atletico Madrid leading the way from local rivals Real.

Barcelona are fourth with Sevilla gate-crashing the party thanks to a first away win.

It's Champions League all the way now for Spain's big guns.

And no wonder they do so well after barely breaking sweat on the domestic front.

    Good night.

It must be said, the oldest 'boy' has been superb for Betis.

Joaquin is 35 but hasn't stopped and shows time and again that the first few yards are in the head.

    Cristiano Ronaldo

It's the complete night now for Real with Cristiano Ronaldo adding his name to the scoresheet.

It's only his second La Liga goal of the season but there looks to be no diminishing of his finishing power.

Ronaldo plays a one-two with Alvaro Morata before driving to the edge of the box and drilling a low shot into the bottom corner.

    Six of the best.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 74 mins

    Real Betis 1-5 Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Antonio Adan is doing his best to keep the score down.

Real smell blood and only a superb right-handed block by Adan prevents Karim Benzema adding to the tally.

Cristiano Ronaldo has another chance but heads over.

    Isco

Panic over (if there was one for Real) as another superb goal puts them back in control.

Isco is again the beneficiary as he curls a beauty into the top corner following another flowing move to claim his second goal of the night.

Cristiano Ronaldo provides the final pass.

    Alvaro Cejudo

Betis substitute Alvaro Cejudo makes a rapid impression with a classy finish to pull a goal back for Betis.

Real started the half in sloppy fashion and when Pepe conceded possession, the home side pounced.

Joaquin slipped in Cejudo and the midfielder did the rest as he calmly slotted his first goal of the season past Keylor Navas.

It's a bright start to the second half from the home side, though, and veteran Joaquin almost pulls a goal back but his header is cleared from in front of goal by Pepe.
