Lionel Messi was injured in Barcelona's last home game - a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid

Club football is back across Europe following the break for international action and La Liga resumes with an unusual look.

Sevilla's 3-2 win at Leganes in the lunch-time kick-off in Spain has taken them to the top of the table.

The big three of Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid also play on Saturday so that lead may not last long.

It's Barca first up, but even if they beat Deportivo to collect only a second home league win of the season they will only move up to second.

By the close of play, the champions could be back down to fourth if their big rivals win their games later:

Atletico Madrid v Granada (17.30 BST)

Real Betis v Real Madrid (19.45 BST)
