    Isaac Cuenca

    Hello...!

The Vincente Calderon may look amazing, but it is stunned into silence as the visitors take a shock lead, but what a goal.

Isaac Cuenca gets the ball just outside the area and flicks it up with one foot before volleying superbly into the back of the net with the other.

    Game on.

Has to be said, the stadium is looking stunning.

Now Andreas Pereira has the chance to do some attacking as a lofted ball over the top finds him on the left side of the area. He hasn't got much to work with, as the bounce of the ball makes it difficult for him, and ultimately he skews his shot wide from a difficult angle.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Granada

For any Manchester United fans following this game, you may be keen to keep an eye on how Andreas Pereira gets on. He's on loan from Jose Mourinho's side and has just won his side a free-kick, and a bit of respite from the Atletico attacks.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Granada

A sniff of an opportunity for the hosts as Yannick Carrasco arrows a cross into the area. Antoine Griezmann gets away from the defence but the ball comes in too quickly for him and flies out of play.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Granada

Granada are playing very narrow and very compact and Atletico are doing their best to open their opponents up a bit by spreading the ball from left to right and back again. The visitors are keeping their shape, though.

Five minutes in and no chances yet. Not even close to one actually.

    Atletico Madrid 0-0 Granada

We saw plenty of goals earlier as Barcelona comfortably beat Deportivo but I think we can safely lower our expectations of something similar in this game. Granada are playing very cautiously at the moment, and Atletico are taking their time to try and find an opening.

Patience is going to be key.

Atletico Madrid v Granada (17:30 BST)

Surely a straightforward win for Diego Simeone's lot?

Granada are bottom of La Liga and without a win all season while Atletico are unbeaten at home, winning three of their four matches at the Vicente Calderon.

A tough task for Granada but who would have expected Eibar to draw at Real Madrid or Alaves to win at Barcelona.

    Anything can happen...

There's no time to rest in La Liga as we now take a digital leap to Madrid.

Atletico are in action in around 15 minutes as they take on Granada knowing victory will put them top of the pile.

    Plenty to play for.

    Barcelona 4-0 Deportivo

Another win bonus for the Barca boys and one that didn't require a lot of graft.

A second home La Liga win of the season will restore some calm, even though it was impossible to judge whether or not this was a real return to form.

Deportivo just about turned up but never posed a threat and are probably happy to go home after conceding just four.

Lionel Messi's goal-scoring return was the big plus for Barca, who will be glad they didn't have to over-exert themselves ahead of Wednesday night's visit of Manchester City in the Champions League.

That might actually be a game.

    Barcelona 4-0 Deportivo

There are supposedly question marks over this Barca defence but this afternoon they simply haven't been put to the test.

Javier Mascherano is set to sign a new contract that will keep him at the Nou Camp until he is 35.

On this evidence he could play most La Liga games until he's 45.

Barca have the ball in the net again but this time Jeremy Mathieu is off-side as he heads in a Neymar cross.

    It was tight.

Moments earlier German Lux excelled again, saving superbly from Lionel Messi's fierce drive.

Manchester City have finished against Everton and more points have gone astray thanks to a 1-1 draw at home to Everton.

Sergio Aguero missed another penalty - food for thought for Pep Guardiola ahead of his return to the Nou Camp on Wednesday.

Former Barca forward Nolito scored City's equaliser so will travel back to Spain in good spirits.
