Crystal Palace winger Jason Puncheon, playing on the left for his side, has had 30 touches on the ball so far, more than any other player.

The Eagles have focused their attacks down that side of the pitch, with almost two-thirds of possession going down the left.

Great break from Chelsea. 

Alonso only had to play it wide but he fluffed the pass to Willian.

Chelsea are showing how dangerous they can be.

A Chelsea break, breaks down at the edge of the area.

And then Cesar Azpilicueta shoots from 25 yards. I'm not even going to bother explaining where it ended up.

The home side have a free-kick.

It's floated into the area where winning-ball-in-the-air expert Scott Dann is standing, but the Palace captain fails to win the ball.

I was very surprised by that decision to pass to Kante. 

You just wanted Hazard to cross with real pace which he is fantastic at doing.

What an opportunity wasted.

The free-kick is played short to N'Golo Kante - why? - 30 yards from goal.

His attempt to shoot is predictably blocked.

So far it's not been the best Premier League game... played in light fog... in December 2016.

Chelsea have a another free-kick. Wide left.

This is odd.

Wilfried Zaha seems to be debating with his team-mates whether to join a three-man wall on the left. It is followed by a conversation with referee Jon Moss, Palace skipper Scott Dann and the winger, with the ref seeming to suggest Zaha needs to calm it down.

Anyway, the free-kick is headed away by Palace.

Jason Puncheon has to hit the target from there - what a good chance for Crystal Palace.

It was a lovely weight of pass from Martin Kelly, but Puncheon pulled it wide and the crime there is to not hit the target.

Crystal Palace started the game really well and Wilfried Zaha will be pivotal if they are to get anything today.

But in the last five minutes Chelsea have had some really nice play, but with no end product and Wayne Hennessey has had nothing to do.

Why did he try to shoot like that?

Yohan Cabaye feeds Martin Kelly out on the right. The full-back's low cross is met by Jason Puncheon - he tries to sidefoot the ball into Thibaut Courtois' far post and instead sidefoots the ball into the advertising hoarding.

Strange finish.

David Luiz steps up....

It's low and beats the wall...

But it deflects off the boot of Joel Ward for a corner, which eventually comes to nothing.

Now.

Free kick after Joel Ward blocks the path of Eden Hazard after a give-and-go with Willian. Ward gets a yellow.
