Britt Assomablonga has scored both the goals tonight, but he becomes the first Nottingham Forest player to be substituted.

The striker has battled injuries this season, making just his fourth start tonight, and he may still be working his way back to full fitness.

Apostolos Vellios is the man who comes on to lead Forest's forward line for the rest of the game.

    Ipswich 0-2 Nottingham Forest

For all the talk of their attacking woes this season, it's the Ipswich defence which looks the more suspect unit.

Nottingham Forest are still being pushed back, but they're a threat every time they're able to launch a counter-attack.

That said, the visitors will need to tighten up if they don't want to concede themselves, as they give Tom Lawrence room to power in a low shot, which Vladimir Stojkovic has to get down quickly to keep out.

    Ipswich 0-2 Nottingham Forest

Jonny Williams has made an immediate impact for Ipswich since coming on, twice setting Freddie Sears free down the left-hand side.

Sears almost set Tom Lawrence up to get a shot away, but Forest's defence shepherds him away from goal.

At the other end, Henri Lansbury gets space just outside the box to fire at Bartosz Bialkowski's goal, but the keeper gets down to parry clear.

A bright start to the second half for Ipswich as the two substitutes combine to win a corner.

Kevin Bru picks out Jonny Williams inside the box, with his low cross cleared behind by centre-back Matt Mills.

There's a bit of a scramble at the back post from the set-play, but Forest eventually clear.

Kevin Bru and Jonny Williams are on in place of Grant Ward and Teddy Bishop.

Blackburn came out on top in a five goal thriller which saw all the goals scored in the opening half. Brentford had gone in front inside a minute through Scott Hogan but Rovers rallied as the snow tipped down to pick up the three points.

Blackburn Rovers boss Owen Coyle told BBC Radio Lancashire:

"It was another exciting Championship game, the football in the first half was excellent on a difficult pitch.

"Even more so after conceding a goal after 30 seconds, I had warned them about that threat.

"They were all a credit to themselves today, we were decimated by injuries and the three points were important on the back of the international break.

"There was guts, heart and spirit."

    FT: Preston 0-0 Wolves

Preston were seeking a fourth win in five from this meeting with Paul Lambert's Wolves but were unable to crack the visitors defence in a stalemate. Jordan Hugill went close late on, but missed while there could have been a penalty which James Linington waved away.

Preston boss Simon Grayson told BBC Radio Lancashire:

"They had a spring in their step, they pressed us and stopped is from playing which is respect to us.

"We did say, just stay in the game and keep churning away and we'll get opportunities, Jordan Hugill went through one on one and you expect him to hit the back of the net. He's been exceptional all season that you can accept him missing an opportunity.

    On the spot-kick 'non-award'.

"I couldn't tell if it was a penalty we didn't have a great camera angle. It would have been nice to get a penalty.".

    GOAL (Assombalonga)published at 45 mins

    HT: Ipswich 0-2 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest's free-kick following that McGoldrick challenge is dealt with, but not fully cleared.

The ball comes back into the box, and Britt Assombalonga diverts it goalwards with his head to double his side's lead and take his personal tally to two goals on the stroke of half-time.

Ipswich have a huge amount of work to do after the break to rescue anything from the game.

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Not long left in the first half now, and it's looking increasingly like Nottingham Forest will be taking a one-goal lead into the dressing rooms.

David McGoldrick tries to change that, but his pass is cut out, and the Tractor Boys striker takes his frustration out a few moments later with a hefty challenge on Pajtim Kasami.

It's a booking - he can have few complaints about that.

  12. Post-match reaction: 'Ollie' in dreamland after winning returnpublished at 18:17 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    FT: QPR 2-1 Norwich City

    Ian HollowayImage source, Rex Features

What a return to QPR for Ian Holloway whose second spell in charge began with victory against  Norwich City. Conor Washington and Seb Polter goals were enough to secure the points, and ensure Holloway basked in the glow of the Rangers support.

QPR boss Holloway told BBC Radio London:

"Almost dizzy, to be out for 18 months and watch other peoples creations, you can't get that buzz, Its been a roller-coaster. Elated, disappointed, re-elated.

"The longer it went on they got nervous, the more things that have happened showed a bit and I've got lots to help them with,

"Rangers fans singing 'We got our club back' meant something to me. Its a dream for me to be to try to work with the group and believe in themselves."

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

That's why you keep a man on the post!

Forest defender Damien Perquis rises to head a corner towards goal, with Bartosz Bialkowski nowhere near the ball, but Jonas Knudsen is standing on the line to deny the visitors a two-goal lead.

  14. Postpublished at 37 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

As always seems to be the case at some point in any given half of football, the game has gone a bit flat.

Nottingham Forest will be the happier of the two teams about that, as Ipswich had been threatening to get back on terms.

  15. Postpublished at 32 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

It should be 1-1, but Ipswich are denied.

A beautiful flick from Tom Lawrence sets David McGoldrick away inside the box, but his left-footed effort is a shade too close to Forest keeper Valdimir Stojkovic and the goalkeeper tips it behind.

That was the hosts' best chance by a distance.

  16. Postpublished at 28 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Ipswich are definitely playing better inside their opponents' half, though they remain a little frail at the back.

Forest wing-back Eric Lichaj makes a little space to get a deflected cross in from the right, but Bartosz Bialkowski does well to backpedal, pluck the ball from the skies, and keep his side in contention.

  17. Post-match reaction: McClaren happy as Rams roll onpublished at 18:00 Greenwich Mean Time 19 November 2016

    FT: Derby 3-0 Rotherham

    Steve McClarenImage source, Getty Images

Derby made it three wins in a row as they beat Rotherham 3-0 with two goals from Tom Ince and one from Darren Bent. It could have been ever greater in terms of margin but for two missed spot kicks by Ince.

Derby boss Steve McClaren told BBC Radio Derby:

"Very pleased, clean sheet, three goals, should have been more. We had to put a marker down, I think we did.

"We'll take that, two weeks ago against Wolves we made it too much of an open game today we really controlled it.

"At least five weeks ago we weren't looking like scoring, now we're creating chances and look like scoring - as long as we keep a clean sheet we'll pick up points."

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Ipswich, having failed to make their mark in the first 20 minutes, are now pushing for an equaliser.

Josh Emmanuel looks lively when he gets the ball down the right, while Tom Lawrence's deliveries from set-pieces are causing a little trouble.

Still no shots on target for the hosts, but encouraging signs at least after a difficult start.

  19. Postpublished at 20 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Ipswich get a shot away - their first of the match - Tom Lawrence trying his luck with a free-kick from around 30 yards out.

It's well struck, but always heading wide.

  20. Postpublished at 17 mins

    Ipswich 0-1 Nottingham Forest

Ipswich left-back Jonas Knudsen concedes possession with a sloppy pass inside his own half, allowing Britt Assombalonga to advance with the ball.

Forest eventually win a free-kick which is easily saved, but moments later Pajtim Kasami is given far too much space to get a shot away again, with Bartosz Bialkowski having to push the ball behind for a corner.
