“What a farce, an absolute farce. Jermaine Beckford and Eoin Doyle, hang your heads in shame, that is embarrassing.

“Your side are trying to get back into the football match and you two have lost the plot.”

Sheffield Wednesday supporter Lee Hicklin has been describing the major talking point at Hillsborough as he saw it by using #bbcefl on Twitter...

"Wednesday were actually down to 9 men as Will Buckley got an injury from the penalty incident and had to go off - we'd used all subs...

"Owls were clinging on for dear life - a Preston equaliser was inevitable - then Doyle and Beckford came to blows over a wayward shot...

"Think Doyle had a shot when Beckford was better placed, or vice versa. Funniest thing I've ever seen at a game. Cost Preston hugely."

It's been a scrappy few minutes at Elland Road and neither side were able to get a foot on the ball.

All of a sudden a poor clearing header from Leeds centre-back Kyle Bartley falls to Jonathan Kodija, who blazes over the bar from the edge of the area.

Villa striker Jonathan Kodija is down in the box getting some treatment after trying to rush onto a flick-on from Rudy Gestede.

Kodija collided with a defender but should be fine to continue.

In the meantime, both sets of players are getting a bit of instruction from their managers.

We have the first booking of the evening as Mile Jedinak is robbed by Leeds winger Hadi Sacko and then pulls back the on-loan man.

The resulting free-kick comes to nothing as there is a shirt-pull in the Villa box by a Leeds player.

Leeds have dominated the early possession stats, with just over 60 percent of the ball so far.

They are yet to mount a serious attack as they've mostly had it in their own half. Villa re looking solid, as you'd expect from a Steve Bruce side.

We are under way in the Championship's late kick-off.
