  1. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 85 mins

    Tottenham 4-0 West Brom

Time for a Spurs change - Mousa Dembele is off, and Harry Winks is on.

There is still time for more Tottenham goals too you know.

  2. 'What a week for Harry Kane'published at 14:10 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

A marvellous little scoop over the top of the defenders from Dele Alli and Harry Kane holds off the defenders to give Ben Foster no chance.

What a week for Kane and what a hat-trick.

GOAL - Tottenham 4-0 West Brompublished at 82 mins

    Harry Kane (82 mins - hat-trick)

Tottenham's fans are in full voice and their team are turning on the style.

Harry Kane exchanges passes with Dele Alli and running on to the latter's delightfully dinked return to fire past Ben Foster.

Foster has been outstanding today, but there is no saving that. Kane has his first hat-trick of the season.

  4. McAuley's mistakepublished at 14:06 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Tottenham 3-0 West Brom

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

Great move down the right-hand side - Gareth McAuley had the chance to put the ball into the stand but he didn't and allowed Kyle Walker to get in behind him.

Walker then picks out Harry Kane unmarked and it's another goal for Tottenham.

It's not been the greatest 200th West Brom appearance for McAuley - an own goal and now a mistake for Spurs' third.

  5. goal

GOAL - Tottenham 3-0 West Brompublished at 77 mins

    Harry Kane (77 mins)

Oh dear. I don't think Gareth McAuley will enjoy watching MOTD tonight. He dillies and dallies and lets Kyle Walker steal in and nab the ball off him near the Baggies' left-hand by-line.

Walker looks up and picks out Harry Kane in the middle, who steers it expertly into the net past Ben Foster... who had been out of position waiting for McAuley's back-pass.

A fine finish from Kane and that is the three points in the bag. Tottenham will be second tonight.

On the left we see Harry Kane's seven touches in the area - he's had nine shots today. On the left we see the four touches West Brom have managed in the Spurs box all day.

The Baggies have improved since half-time but Hugo Lloris has still not had a save to make and the visitors have only had two shots in total... Tottenham have had 19.

Gareth McAuley is 37 now and this is his 200th appearance for West Brom. He's been a brilliant servant for the club but scored an own goal today.

  8. YELLOW CARDpublished at 72 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

West Brom's Gareth McAuley goes into the book for arguing that he was fouled by Kyle Walker. He had a case, but there are the dissent rules in action for you... you cannot just yell at a referee any more even if you think he missed something.

Play continues and Christian Eriksen tees up a Tottenham player for another shot. This time it is Victor Wanyama, who sees his low shot blocked by Ben Foster.

  9. Postpublished at 69 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

Tottenham have not had the same fizz about them since the break but they are still dangerous when they get near the Baggies box.

Mousa Dembele tries his luck from 30 yards, but the ball is still rising as it flies over Ben Foster's bar.

  10. 'Vertonghen looks distraught'published at 13:52 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2017

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

Jan Vertonghen has gone over on his ankle, really quite badly. It's the change in surface as he comes off the pitch and on to the astro turf and he's rolled his ankle.

He looks to be in a lot of pain right now. They've applauded him off the pitch.

    John Murray: He looks distraught.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 65 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

Spurs only have 10 men at the moment with Jan Vertonghen off the pitch, but they are still attacking. Harry Kane has some space to gallop into in the Baggies half... until he is cleaned out by Jonas Olsson that is. A booking, every day of the week.

Ouch... looks like Tottenham are going to be making a change imminently too. Jan Vertonghen has turned an ankle out on the touchline and looks in real pain.

Where Spurs are very good is when they sense a chance to close down and retrieve the ball, they are relentless.

  16. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

This game is far more of a contest now, but West Brom are yet to have a shot on target and their attempts to change that statistic are leaving some gaps at the back.

If Spurs get the next goal then it is game over. If the Baggies get it, then it is game on for them...

That was like a game of pinball. Another good save from Ben Foster in there too.

West Brom started the first few minutes of the second half well but Spurs have sparked back into life now.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 58 mins

    Tottenham 2-0 West Brom

The first half saw a string of saves from West Brom keeper Ben Foster and he is at it again here as Tottenham belatedly come back to life.

Foster sticks out a leg to keep out Toby Alderweireld' snap-shot from a corner and recovers to push away Jan Vertonghen's effort from outside the area too.

It's not a foul on Dele Alli - Craig Dawson just gets in front of him and does well.

Not a single Spurs player put their arm up for the penalty appeal.
