More pressure from West Brom and a couple of Chris Brunt crosses come into the Spurs area. Nobody can get on the end of them, but at least they are giving the home side something to think about in this half.

It looks like a change of system from West Brom, like they're trying to match Spurs' 3-4-3. Gareth McAuley seems to have come out to the left of a three-man defence.

Another Baggies ball forward aimed for Matt Phillips sees Hugo Lloris dash from his area to volley clear. Darren Fletcher tries to loft the ball back over the Spurs keeper from the half-way line, but is a long way off target.

Better from West Brom already. Matt Phillips sprints on to the end of a precise through ball by Salomon Rondon, and rolls his shot just wide of the post.

Spurs get the second half started. No changes from either side at half-time.

So, is there any way back for the Baggies. They can't be as bad after the break as they were in that first half, surely?

Sadly for Tony Pulis's side, however they respond there is every chance Tottenham will be as good as they were in the first 45 minutes too. 

Spurs are up to second in the table as things stand after that sizzling display, four points behind leaders Chelsea.

Typically, Tottenham's full backs - Danny Rose (3) and Kyle Walker (2) - have been as advanced as anyone in white so far. 

A look at the average positions of where players have touched the ball shows how much time they are spending high up the pitch. 

The West Brom half is where pretty much all of the game is taking place, so not surprise to find pretty much all of the Baggies players have their average position there too.

Paul Lummis: Are there any teams playing more aesthetically pleasing football than Tottenham anywhere in England right now? Dominant.

Maxim Del Mar: So far the best first-half performance I've seen from any team in the Prem. Spurs mean business.

Sam Pougher: I wonder if West Brom will even decide to turn up in the second half. They certainly didn't show up in the first half.

Harry Kane will be a lot more relieved after scoring Tottenham's first goal because he had that great chance early on. But, edge of the box, Christian Eriksen shouldn't be allowed to do that, with nobody closing him down. 

It was a poor, poor goal from Albion's point of view. It's far too easy for Tottenham, and it has been the same for the whole first half.

The good news for West Brom? Um, I'm struggling to be honest, apart from that it is almost half-time.

Tottenham have not had a shot for a while and Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris has taken a couple of touches (with his feet) but that is as good as it has got for the Baggies so far. They still have not had an effort at goal.
