• Wayne Rooney became the 17th outfield player to play 450 Premier League games.
• Antonio Valencia registered his first Premier League assist since May 2016 against Bournemouth.

I won't write anyone off anymore after what I saw last season when Leicester won the title. So I think that is a very good point for Liverpool.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has unveiled his potty mouth on BBC Radio 5 live.

"A lot of people thought it was a decisive game for the rest of the season," he says.

Followed by a phrase that amounts to "male cow manure".

Manchester United

Man United boss Jose Mourinho on BBC Radio 5 live: "The people need to know what Marouane Fellaini is great at and what he is not so good at. Marouane is very good in some aspects.

"I was looking to the pitch and only saw yellow shirts in the box. I thought it's difficult to penetrate so I thought we should go direct."

Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC Sport: "A lot of people before the game would have thought we would get a knock today because United look like a rolling beetle and everything goes in their direction. We know about our problems and situations so seeing a performance like today was nice. 

"We needed to be brave, we created the spaces we wanted, we scored the goal. In the end period of the game when United started playing long balls - Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovic - after 80 minutes high intense football it is really hard. I hoped we would have a bit of luck, unfortunately not but all good. Tomorrow I can enjoy the result, but tonight only the performance.

"It is so intense. They play long balls, it was a wild game. There was a lot of action in the last few minutes. We were here to win the game which is why we we are not 100% satisfied."

There seems to be a lot going on around Paul Pogba this week.

His hashtag was all around the stadium. You give people the opportunity to point the finger at you.

I know he's a very enthusiastic, effervescent kind of guy but surely your performance on the pitch has to be 100%.

Manchester United

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, speaking to BBC Sport: "Very exciting, even for the non neutral - for Liverpool fans and our fans they were enthusiastic until the last seconds. I didn't think the game had super quality. We didn't reflect the qualities we have and Liverpool have but it was very emotional, intense, aggressive. We fought until the last second.

"They were clever. They took their time, they know how to play football and control the emotions of the game. They knew they would be in trouble in the final few minutes.

"We were the team that attacked and Liverpool were the team that defended. Let's see if the critics are fair. I enjoyed it but I will obviously be disappointed we didn't get the three points."

Man United needed to win that game. Liverpool played well, stifled them and nearly got it done. United did what they do and in the end came back.

There is a lot to pick out of what was a very, very good game of football.

Manchester United goalscorer Zlatan Ibrahimovic, speaking to Sky Sports: "We got one point, we were not at the top of our game. It was a hard fight. We were 1-0 down and chased and chased, it was a different game in the second half and we got an equaliser.

"We made simple mistakes. We were more direct in the second half. They played with high pressure and in the first half there were too many mistakes in our build up. 

"We would like to win every game of course to close the gap even more but 1-1, we continue like this, we haven't lost a game in 15 or 16 and we are there."

A heated exchange between Jose Mourinho and Jurgen Klopp on the touchline after Ander Herrera had grappled with Roberto Firmino.

In the end, the pair were separated, with Mourinho calling an end to the row by putting his thumb up towards his Liverpool counterpart.

Klopp ignored it.

The pair did shake hands at the end though.
