Paul Gourley: The only change Mourinho can't make is subbing off Michael Oliver, only difference so far. Utd better team by far

Sam Budhdev: Milner, average right midfielder, world class left-back. I never thought in a million years that I would be typing that.

Will we see Marcus Rashford? Will we see Wayne Rooney? Possibly Juan Mata? I think Jose Mourinho will make chages.

The three United players have been warming up for 20 minutes like they've been told they're coming on.

It has been a decent game. Liverpool have had all the possession but United should be going in level with two great opportunities. Simon Mignolet has been Liverpool's best player but they go in 1-0 up.

    Man Utd 0-1 Liverpool

Liverpool keeper Simon Mignolet has had two shots on target to deal with in the first half and pulled off impressive saves to keep out a Zlatan Ibrahimovic free-kick and a Henrikh Mkhitaryan shot.

When you see the substitutes rushing down the tunnel you expect the changes to be made.

Liverpool have set up pretty well. I thought Man United would be more intense with how they attacked.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp restored Simon Mignolet in goal despite the heroics of Loris Karius in the midweek EFL Cup semi-final at Southampton - and the Belgian has fully justified that decision with two crucial saves.

Jose Mourinho was off down the tunnel a fair bit before half-time. Liverpool have the lead but Manchester United are still right in this match.

What a save again from Simon Mignolet. James Milner played Henrikh Mkhitaryan onside. He goes across Mignolet and he stuck out a strong right arm - what a save.

That should be a foul by Marcos Rojo on Divock Origi because Rojo pulled him back - Origi stayed on his feet but it was a foul.

Just because he stayed on his feet and he's been honest the referee hasn't given it. People will criticise him if he goes down but it's the only way to get a free-kick these days.

Lovely football from Manchester United, working the ball quickly to the right.

Antonio Valencia is brought down near the corner flag, but no free-kick is given.

Liverpool then break to the other end and Divock Origi is two-on-one on the edge of the box, but cannot get his shot away.

Adam Lallana does, but the effort is blocked.

    Breathless stuff at Old Trafford.
