Lovren gets a yellow card for winning the ball with a great tackle. Pogba gets nothing for a deliberate handball and a headlock on Henderson?

    Jamie Rouge

Not a penalty for Liverpool. Big refs fail on the big occasions yet again. This is getting stupid now. #enough

Sheer brilliance from the God-like Pogba. That's what £90m gets you

Jon Evans: That should not be a penalty. How many times?!? The rule says it is to be deliberate. Zero intent on that hitting his hand.

Colin Reardon: What an appalling opening 25 minutes by Pogba. Scuffs a sitter then gives away a pen!

KN: Pogba has made 2-3 mistakes before this. Now he's made a costly mistake & given the penalty

Gurung: That's no place to do a dab is it Pogba

Paul Pogba may have launched his new Twitter emoji today, but he might not want to take a look at social media for a while...

That is a great save from Simon Mignolet. It's the keeper's side - he should save it but he didn't take the step the other way which helped him.

He was in control of his motion. I think that was a harsh yellow card for Dejan Lovren. It was a good tackle.

    From hero to zero.

Dejan Lovren makes a lovely challenge to dispossess Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but is then book for diving in and catching Anthony Martial.

The corner is an outswinger from James Milner. Paul Pogba doesn't look at the ball - he sees Dejan Lovren and as he jumps he turns the opposite way and the ball strikes him on the hand.

It was a good spot from Michael Oliver.

    What a fantastic penalty from Milner - a long run-up, side-footed.

    Stretford End silenced.

David de Gea goes the right way but James Milner's penalty has too much accuracy and Liverpool lead!

In the 45 previous league games in which Milner has scored, the Premier League team he has represented has not lost.
