Raheem Sterling and Tom Davies tangle, resulting in the latter having a pop at the Manchester City forward. Mark Clattenburg is quick to diffuse the situation. Davies won't want to spoil a superb day for himself.

It was a brilliant run from Tom Davies, and it was a lovely dink over Bravo to finish. I want to give that goal to Davies all day long. I just wonder if Romelu Lukaku got a nick on it – he wheeled away in celebration. Everton have been nothing sort of sensational in this second half.

Nathan Daniels: With these supposed superstar managers coming & struggling in the Premier League, how impressive does it make Wenger's achievements look?
Steve Howes: The great Pep is turning into a myth. Santa, tooth fairy & Pep. If he doesnt have an easy league, he looks very average.
Karl Brookes: It's not Sterile Possession, more Pointless Possession. Man City sacked two trophy winners for this?

Everton 3-0 Man City
Pep Guardiola has the look of a man trying to read War and Peace after a night without sleep.
He looks utterly perplexed by what has unfolded on the pitch. Terrible stuff from City.
Tom Davies
The goal that surely ends Manchester City's slim hopes of a fightback.
It's brilliant stuff from Tom Davies, who takes on half the City team and even recovers from being floored to dink a clever finish over Claudio Bravo. Romelu Lukaku looks as though he tries to celebrate touching the ball over the line, but that was all Davies. Great goal.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Everton make their second change of the game as Gareth Barry is replaced by James McCarthy.
Moments later there's signs that Manchester City's frustrations have started to bubble over as David Silva is booked following a lazy challenge.
Mike Carson: Within three years City will win the Premier League and Champions League double. Hope the people now ridiculing Pep will be quick to apologise.
Dan, Wirral: If City finish outside the top four, how does Pep survive??? Does he deserve to? They got shut of Mancini. He finished second.
Alec, Nuneaton: Please behave, comparing Pep to Sir Alex! Fergie didn't inherit a team of recent champions at a club bankrolled by billionaire owners, and actually finished as runners up only to the mighty Liverpool in his first full season.
Everton 2-0 Man City
We haven't seen much at all from Sergio Aguero but he always has the ability to pop up and get a goal out of nothing. Not this time, though, as he sees a shot palmed away by Joel Robles. It looked to be going wide anyway, but Robles made sure.

Manchester City look lost. The way the second half has transpired, City have not threatened at all. Everton have defended quite deep but still posed a threat on the counter attack. By contrast, Sterling, De Bruyne and Silva have not managed to pose a threat on the ball in this second half.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Bacary Sagna is soldiering on. Aleksandar Kolarov had just negotiated his way out of his coat but is told to sit back down for now.

David Simpson: The average level of this City team isn't Pep's fault. Another year and they will look totally different.
Dale Gordon: Let's not lose our heads now and call for an execution...still the first season for Pep reign..let's stick with the team.
Ethan Carter: You'd think Guardiola would have watched Van Gaal from last season and learned that tiki taka doesn't work in the Premier League.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Bacary Sagna crosses towards the near post as Manchester City come forward. Ashley Williams knees the ball behind before Nicolas Otamendi heads the corner wide.
There's concern for City, Sagna is down after getting caught in the box waiting for that corner and looks in some considerable pain.
Everton 2-0 Man City
John Stones fluffs his attempted clearance, much to the delight of Everton fans, and hands the ball on a plate to Romelu Lukaku. Some really poor decision-making at the back for City today. Certainly not top four stuff.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Kevin Mirallas' work is done. After an assist and a goal he goes off to an ovation from the home fans, with Morgan Schneiderlin replacing him to make his Everton debut.
Jack, Colchester: Man City just don't have the squad to play Guardiola's style of football. You can't turn Zabaleta into Iniesta.
Shakeyman: When is Guardiola going to admit that he's been wrong and recall Joe Hart from his loan spell? Bravo is a disaster waiting to happen.Get some new blood in defence before the transfer window closes as Kompany is never going to return to his former effectiveness.
Matt Greenslade: How do you describe Mirallas' role? It's not false 10. It's not false anything. It's just 'the Mirallas role'.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Change for Manchester City as Pep Guardiola opts for more firepower, replacing Pablo Zabaleta with Kelechi Iheanacho.
We could be about to see a Morgan Schneiderlin debut for Everton. He's up and getting some instructions from the Everton staff.
Everton 2-0 Man City
Still Everton soak up possession but they look effective on the break and when they go direct to Romelu Lukaku. All of City's time with the ball has yielded little and they are hardly building up a relentless momentum.
