6th season in a row Ronaldo has scored 10 or more goals in Europe. Class apart.

Is this the same Ronaldo the British press called a one trick pony and a flat track bully in the premier league.
Davva.
Ronaldo has a good scoring record against Atletico, but where was he against Barca? To suggest he is better than Messi is ridiculous!

Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo 3-0 Atletico Madrid.
His 42nd Real Madrid hat-trick. Almost cartoon-like.

Atletico have been out-fought, out-classed, out-battled, out-everything tonight.
Cristiano Ronaldo is a physical specimen - a total, natural athlete.
Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid
I think Real Madrid might win this.
Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid
You can't score a hat-trick against Bayern Munich in the quarter final and then a hat-trick against Atletico Madrid in the semi final. It's just not on.
Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid
It could be four! Luke Modric with the acrobatic effort beyond the far post, into the side-netting though.
Have some mercy Martin Atkinson. Blow that whistle!

I'll say it again. THE greatest player on this planet.
The composure! He didn't panic, he took a touch and stroked it into the centre of the goal.
We are privileged to be here tonight at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid 3-0 Atletico Madrid
A hat-trick used to be something to tell your friends about, a rare beast spotted fleetingly, heard about through whispers in a playground, barely believed.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have turned them into the bog-standard. Almost expected.
It's another comprehensive finish, sub Lucas Vazquez puts a cross into the middle, the Atletico defence is by now all over the place and Cristiano Ronaldo slams home his third.
Tie over?
Cristiano Ronaldo HAT-TRICK
Probably worth marking this guy lads.

Atletico have been nowhere near on the same level as Real Madrid. They have been outstanding.
I love and admire every thing about the Premier League but I don't think we have anything like this in the Premier League.
This definitely is the standard bearer for what we need to aim for next season.

Lines are open now so get in touch - we want to know your thoughts on tonight's match but so much more too.
Are Atletico the sort of club Tottenham should aspire to become?
Will Hull be able to keep Marco Silva? If he does leave where will he go?
And David Moyes - yes or no?

As good as Real have been, you have to be disappointed by Atletico's performance tonight. I was expecting a lot more.
Stefan Savic perhaps shares my frustration as he catches Cristiano Ronaldo late and goes into the book.
Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico Madrid
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 51 goals in the group stages of the Champions League and 51 in the knockout stages. Not too shabby at all.

I listened to my Dad talk about George Best and Pele for 20 years.
Ronaldo is easily as good as them.

Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico Madrid
Time to play the 'away goal' card once more. They don't look like finding one at the moment but one for Atletico now, and it's a different game. A different tie.
Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico Madrid
Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico Madrid
Karim Benzema played a large part in that second goal and he is now off for the last 15 minutes, in comes Lucas Vazquez.
Real Madrid 2-0 Atletico Madrid
Please direct all 'Lionel Messi' post to Phil Neville, not me.
I think he lives in Valencia.
You can't argue with Cristiano Ronaldo's impact though can you?
