    Same old England....

Tom Wright: Well, if that wasn't the most quintessentially English performance we've seen. A few flashes of quality, marred by basic errors

Another tough night for Gareth Southgate then. Yes it was only a friendly but the way his side were brushed aside by 10 men will worry him.

Matthew Harris: It's a friendly. It's a friendly three weeks after the season ended. It's not worth the effort of booing and you know it.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 90+2 mins

    France 3-2 England

Great ball through! Ousmane Dembele again just walks away from Eric Dier and slides in a gem of a pass for Kylian Mbappe. He's free, of course he is, he's clean through but again Jack Butland makes a cracking sprawling save.

These French youngsters are looking absolutely top class.

Everything you need about the game, France have got; pace, power, technique, legs.

    England? Nothing.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gives the ball away again, a blind pass, and Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Ousmane Dembele almost toy with the England defence. In the end they overdo it and don't get a shot off.

    BBC Radio 5 live

There will be a Radio 5 live football social after full-time tonight, with Mark Chapman and the team out in France.

So after the penalty and the Varane sending off - are you in favour of video refs or do they slow the game down too much?

Two more goals for Harry Kane in an England shirt, giving him eight in total. Can he threaten Wayne Rooney’s England record of 53?

And we want to know what you make of the state of the England team one year out from the World Cup in Russia.

I think France have actually played better with 10 men than 11. All credit to the men in blue.

France have been a threat constantly.

When you look at England's performance tonight, overall it has been very poor.

Kyle Walker, a man who has played in three positions in his 40 minutes on the pitch, now puts in a testing cross from the right but it's miscued by Adam Lallana. Raheem Sterling then fires wildly over the bar.

Not sure England have had an effort on target since their second goal.

    Theo Bowyer: No killer instinct

Paul Christie: John Stones. Biggest fraud of the lot. A defender that can't defend. How he continues to be selected for the England I don't know.

Ethan: My word! I've never seen England without passion or heart before. Well, I'm positive will never happen again...

Didier Deschamps will have learned plenty tonight. Mainly:DON'T EVER LEAVE OUSMANE DEMBELE, KYLIAN MBAPPE AND N'GOLO KANTE OUT ever again.

More skill from Kylian Mbappe as he sort of moonwalks away from a defender near the corner flag and then backheels down the line. He is going to be something else this kid.

England win a corner. Send up the big men...

I have got to say, for the first 15 minutes of the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half England have been alright.

    But other than that?

    Disappointing.

'Allez les Bleus!' is the latest soundtrack at the Stade de France. The 10 men are almost in 'Ole' territory, they are having all the time in the world on the ball. England have dithered and deteriorated as the half has gone on.

The back three have struggled tonight. There are gaps everywhere and France have only got 10 men!
