Another tough night for Gareth Southgate then. Yes it was only a friendly but the way his side were brushed aside by 10 men will worry him.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain gives the ball away again, a blind pass, and Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba and Ousmane Dembele almost toy with the England defence. In the end they overdo it and don't get a shot off.

France have been a threat constantly.

When you look at England's performance tonight, overall it has been very poor.

Kyle Walker, a man who has played in three positions in his 40 minutes on the pitch, now puts in a testing cross from the right but it's miscued by Adam Lallana. Raheem Sterling then fires wildly over the bar.

I have got to say, for the first 15 minutes of the first half and the first 10 minutes of the second half England have been alright.

But other than that?
