Credit to Bournemouth as they slowed things down and frustrated Manchester United. Eddie Howe was tactically naive in the first half but brilliant in the second half.

Jose Mourinho shook hands with Eddie Howe at the final whistle, had a chat with the Bournemouth manager, then calmly walked to the centre circle to do the same with referee Kevin Friend and his linesman.

Around him, Manchester United players were storming off.

They will know what a big chance they have just blown to break into top four.

Make no mistake, we're going to hear an awful lot more about the events towards the end of the first half which left Bournemouth down to 10 men.

You don't want to miss Match of the Day later. Judge for yourselves whether Tyrone Mings and Zlatan Ibrahimovic should have been red carded too.

What a match. What a result for Bournemouth. Manchester United have blown the chance to climb into the Premier League's top four. They remain sixth - one point behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

United are piling forward. The ball is played out wide to Marcos Rojo who whips a cross into the mix. Artur Boruc stretches out his arms to pluck the ball from the air. Zlatan Ibrahimovic shouts something at Rojo. It isn't very pleasant.

However, the Manchester United manager has just come to the edge of his technical area to yell at Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

The instruction was straightforward, get wide and stay there.

How many times have we seen Manchester United score a last minute winner? This game is definitely not over.

This game has been littered with ugly challenges. Harry Arter, already booked, is lucky to stay on but he's not the only one.

Eddie Howe was ill this morning. Now his stomach is churning for a different reason.

Annoyed about Zlatan Ibrahimovic avoiding a red card before half-time, he was incredulous about the penalty award for Manchester United just then.

Now Harry Arter has been flattened and Howe is on his haunches.
