    Man Utd 1-1 Bournemouth

One thing is for sure - we've not heard the last of Tyrone Mings' stamp on Zlatan Ibrahimovic or the United's striker's elbow on the Bournemouth player.

    We're back under way.

Guidance from Dermot Gallagher at the Premier League Match Centre on events at Old Trafford.

Andrew Surman's second yellow was for pushing over Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the elbow incident.

Tyrone Mings could face retrospective action for treading on Ibrahimovic while Ibrahimovic could face retrospective action for elbow incident.

    Got that?

It is fair to say Bournemouth are not too happy with the officials, with assistant manager Jason Tindall particularly vexed.

He was not happy when Zalatan Ibrahimovic escaped a red card. He was furious when Andrew Surman got one.

First he had a rant at the linesman, then, after the half-time whistle blew, he marched onto the field, ushering Bournemouth's players away from referee Kevin Friend, whilst also jabbing his finger towards the officials.

He made a few points. Whatever they were, they weren't complimentary.

We're scratching our heads trying to find out why Andrew Surman received a second yellow which resulted in his afternoon being cut short.

It appears it was for a shove on Ibrahimovic.

No doubt about that flying elbow from Ibrahimovic though. The United player retaliated after Mings' appeared to deliberately stamp on Ibrahimovic.

That was disgraceful by Mings. No excuse from Ibrahimovic though.

When Ibrahimovic jumped up for that header he was looking at Mings and not the ball. He's led with his elbow and he knew exactly what he was doing. The referee has made a complete mess of that.

  7. RED CARD - Andrew Surmanpublished at 45 mins

    Man Utd 1-1 Bournemouth

It's all kicking off at Old Trafford. Bournemouth are down to 10 men after a second yellow to Andrew Surman but that's only half the story.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, booked earlier for dissent when the penalty was awarded, slams his elbow into Tyrone Mings.

Somehow, the United striker escapes a second yellow.

Ibrahimovic is going to make the headlines again - for the wrong reasons this time.

  8. CLOSE!published at 43 mins

    Man Utd 1-1 Bournemouth

The hands of Boruc save Bournemouth again as United come roaring back.

Paul Pogba finds Wayne Rooney with a brilliant pass inside the area and the United man looks certain to score before Boruc stick out a strong hand.

I can't believe it's 1-1. What a penalty by Joshua King. No keeper in the world would have saved that.

    Astonishing scenes.

Manchester United have been coasting but everything changes as Marc Pugh goes to ground under Phil Jones' challenge and Kevin Friend awards a penalty.

A huge chance for Bournemouth to get back into this...former United player Joshua King makes no mistake.

Credit to Bournemouth's travelling fans. Not only have they turned up in force for a 500 mile round trip but many will have been on the road at first light to make it in time for the early kick-off.

Their team has given them little to cheer so far. Artur Boruc is keeping them in this.

  14. YELLOW CARDpublished at 33 mins

    Man Utd 1-0 Bournemouth

Harry Arter is being lectured by Kevin Friend. The Bournemouth man has already been booked and it looks like a final warning after another forceful challenge.

Moments later Andrew Surman's name is taken for a crunching tackle on Luke Shaw.

Seven shots. Four on target. One goal. Up to fourth in the table.

A decent afternoon for Manchester United so far.

You can be done 5-0 or 6-0 when you come up against one of the big teams. For Bournemouth it's all about trying to keep it tight and keeping the goals down.

    Man Utd 1-0 Bournemouth

There's not been many times this season that the Premier League table has made decent reading for United fans.

They've spent most of the season on the outside looking in as far as the top four is concerned.

But right now United are up to fourth - above both Arsenal and Liverpool.

Well that goal came from absolutely nothing but let's be honest...it's been coming.

  19. goal

GOAL - Man Utd 1-0 Bournemouthpublished at 23 mins

    Marcos Rojo

It's been coming...the only surprise is the scorer.

Marcos Rojo deflects Antonio Valencia's shot inside the area past Artur Boruc.

It's Rojo's first of the season. Perfect timing as far as United are concerned.

    Man Utd 0-0 Bournemouth

How are Bournemouth hanging on? Manchester United have hogged 61% of the ball, creating chance after chance.

The home team have popped five shots at the away goal - as well as wasting plenty of other opportunities with wayward crosses.

Bournemouth have not registered a shot on goal yet (Benik Afobe's 12th-minute stumble not officially a shot in the stats).
