Kevin de Bruyne shoots from distance.... OVER.
It's basically over or into David de Gea's hands. Every time.
Marcus Rashford is finally involved in the action but he's got no support as he tries to go alone from his own half and Pablo Zabaleta stops him.
United striker Marcus Rashford must be the loneliest man in the world - he's only had 22 touches of the ball all night.
Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling has a shot from the edge of the box but it's held by David de Gea.
SOMEBODY TAKE A GOOD SHOT.
United have had three shots tonight, one of them was blocked.
The fewest shots they have had in a league game this season is seven against Liverpool in October.

No John, no, we won't have this. We won't. And wouldn't you need to paint something before you watch it dry?
John Shaw: Anyone else thinking that getting some paint out of the shed to watch it dry might be preferable to watching this ?
United defender Matteo Darmian is down injured after getting a Fernandinho arm to the face. Luke Shaw warms up.
The corner comes in and Nicolas Otamendi's header is deflected over by Eric Bailly. I think we could be here all night without City scoring to be honest. Will United ever have an attack again?
Aleksandar Kolarov. Shot. Deflected. Corner.
In terms of possession and dominance, this almost feels like an FA Cup third-round game between a Premier League team and one from League One.
Raheem Sterling's cross is just beyond the head of Leroy Sane.
The only Premier League game in which Manchester United have faced more shots this season is the reverse fixture against Manchester City (18). City have had 15 so far today.
It's shot number one million for Manchester City as Eric Bailly passes it straight to Sergio Aguero, whose 20-yard effort rises over the bar.
Wayne Rooney warming up for United now. That'll really speed up their attacks...
Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Etihad Stadium
Manchester City have got Manchester United penned back but all their efforts have so far lacked penetration. Jose Mourinho's men are resilient - as you would expect from a side that has gone 23 league games unbeaten.
I'm struggling to remember anything United have done in this half. Kevin de Bruyne has a shot from distance but it's deflected into the side of the net. He doesn't do anything with the corner.
Gabriel Jesus is warming up for City.
Leroy Sane goes down after getting a touch on the shin from Anthony Martial. It's very much half-hearted appeals though. No penalty.
Leroy Sane's shot from Kevin de Bruyne's free-kick is blocked by Eric Bailly.
I've seen worse 0-0s. But I've also seen better ones. This game really needs a goal. Please.
City have had 72% of the ball in the second half.
Chris Waddle
Ex-Spurs and England winger for 5 live Sport
Man United have everybody behind the ball now and it's fairly hard for City to find space.
Overall United are in control in this half.
David de Gea plays a long punt forward to Marcus Rashford, which is cut out by a City defender. United really aren't stringing many moves together.
Sergio Aguero has now attempted seven shots in this game; more than any other player in a single game against United all season.
